DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

In Ardee you are told by a Firbolg that he and his mother, Gormghlaith,
near Howth are big fans of yours and could use your help. Seems his mother
had a valuable teapot stolen from her by lucricaduanes in the Silver Mountains. If you could get it back from them and give it to her (she's
right outside of Howth near the stable master) he'd much appreciate it.

You have to go kill a lucricaduane for it. I found some in a valley in the north edge of the Silver Mountains. You'll lose leprechaun faction when you do it (only two kills at this level will make you KOS).

When you return the teapot to Gormghlaith she'll be greatful and then say what would be really nice was if she had some blackwood tea. She asks you to get a blackwood leaf from a lunatishee and some wolf whiskers from a lough wolf.

Killing lunatishee will lower blackwood faction and once again killing two will make you KOS. Lunatishee and Lough Wolves can be found next to the road south from Mag Mell.

When you return all this to her you get a quarter to half bubble experience and 2 silver and some copper.

Ok I for somereason got this disapointing quest at level 17 but here is how it worked for me. I got her teapot from a grey luricadens (how ever you spell it) and you have to talk to her before you give it back. In doing so you get a different quest called A piece of Gormghlaith's Mind. In this quest you need the water beetle carapieces wich I may add is still grey (why did I get this quest at lvl 17?. After being forced to accept a new quest you may give back the teapot and then you are still required to get the leaves and wiskers.... So it is two quests but the second is unavoidable.... This lady and her tea.... She conned red to me and everything else is grey so shouldn't she be able to kill all the stuff just as good if not better than me? lazy tea lady....

I dont know what to do with this quest.. it seems to have branched out into 2 different quests. because I gave her her teapot, it said I had to in my quest book, but for some reason the message didnt go away and it still says I have to give her her teapot! which I already did.. Anyone know if this is a bug? the other branch of the quest is I have to kill some boss for another guy that i was sent to.. I have not done that yet.. But wondering why the heck she still wants her teapot. when I gave it to her and some water beetle carapaces!
Gor's Tea Quest

No wonder it was different, a whole different quest. The quest was called A Piece of Gormghlaith's Mind. Not posted on allakhazam here, oh well, I took the choker, and its +3 str +6 hits 3% to something. I needed eq for the neck. The 4th piece i forgot in the last post was a jewel for poison.

Gor's Tea

I got this quest as a 17th enchantress, and it is quite different from what was here.

I first had the get 2 water beetle carapieces from water beetles, then I had to tell a guard in front of Howth (the named one) to do his job. I then had to go talk to the Chief, then get 3 sparggonnol heads for him. Once I did that, I had to return to the abandoned farmhouse camp, and kill Boss. I did that, got his corpse, went into the farmhouse and found some blackthorn tea leaves. I went back to the Cheif, gave him the corpse, got a bit of cash, got more leaves and was told to go talk to Gor again. I went and talked to her, gave her the 4 leaves and now I have a choice of 4 pieces of eq to choose from, a choker for strength, bracelet for the musically inclined, glves for speed, and i forget the 4th. So I guess the quest has been updated.

Alas, as a chantress, I don't know which piece of eq to take.

Here's the deal. Got this quest, recovered the teapot and returned it. Then she sends you out to get tea leaves and wolf whiskers. I killed a lumatishee and he dropped leaves, but my pack was full and they went on the ground. While I was messing with my pack, I was attacked and killed. I went back to the spot after releaseing, and no leaves. I have the whiskers, but now if I kill more lumatishess, they don't drop leaves. I am still stuck on that step in the quest, but can't get any leaves..Anyone got any ideas or had this happen before? Luckily this doesn't sound like the best quest anyways, but woukld like to finish it seeing I did all the work already anyways...

just type /appeal and explain it to a customer service rep they should be able to reset the quest to where you were
Agreed

Oh well, lots more quests out there, if you're not sure if one's worth it, check out this page and move on accordingly.

And I'll have to go with the "all leprechauns must die!" thing, they are evil and make great pet food.

I received this quest az lv.9 (ranger), its an easy kill, from Howth just swim through the water, found a green (to me) lunashee there.
Question
# Dec 19 2001 at 5:53 AM Rating: Default
I just got this quest at level 9, i think i'm not strong enough to fight lunatishee, should i start or wait until higher level?

In case you didn't know...

I too found the lucraduanes across the stepping stones near the waters edge in Howth. As for the lunatishees..I found that they spawn near the zone wall next to the pond where the Mad Sprite is and the best part is they are single spawns..no blackthorn trees :) Most conned blue at lvl 10 as well. Good luck!

Needless to say I was miffed for spending the time to do this quest when I got the reward. 2 silver and change. Hell, I spent 10s on the horse rides. I think that if quest grant magial items, then there should no level limit, but there should be a limit on quests that only give money and exp.
luricaduane location?
# Nov 12 2001 at 12:34 AM Rating: Default
ok, i have been trying to find these darn luricaduane's forever! where the heck are they???

# Nov 18 2001 at 7:16 PM Rating: Default
some can be found in the trees just outside Tir Na mBeo to the NW. They'll be mixed with some Blackthorns but you'll be able to single one out. If I remember correctly they were blue to me at lvl 11.

Good luck,

got this quest assigned to me by a Filidh (I think one in Tir na mBeo) right after I turned 9 (Ranger), so the minimum lvl is off at least for Rangers. easy once i remembered where the luricaduane's could be found, mostly running to and fro, but 2 silver is disappointing!

No doubt. They really need to unnerfify this quest. Disappointing to say the least.
Blackthorn faction
# Nov 03 2001 at 11:33 AM Rating: Decent
It really ticked me off that I had to ruin my Blackthorn faction for next to no reward.

Of course, I might as well do the quest where you have to kill Prunar now, since the lunas hate me anyway.

I got this quest at level 16 (Ranger). It really wasn't worth doing at that point as everything con'd grey to me, but it's possible.

WHY would you want to ruin your faction (very handy for soloing in alot of those areas) for mediocre exp and a few coins? Definately NOT worth it, IMHO.

the Firbolg in Ardee is Gornack(sp) he is in the shop with the weapon merchant (it's accross from the fighter trainer) the lucrcaduane is accross the river by some mushrooms, there was an enchanted one (green to a level 9) but he never attacked.

Be careful on the lunatishee's they come at you with another and a blackthorn, they were blue to orange to a lev 9 I got very very luck and found one alone.
