Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest.

Per Patch 1.76:
- Ilisa's Trade - Players will no longer be sent to the Cliffs of Moher after turning in the Smithing Text or Smithing Song Globe to Eli.

This epic quest is received from your trainer at L40. You are sent to Ilisa, the weapon smith in Mag Mell. She offers to make you a special weapon but she needs spell components from various places and enchanted silver from Coruscating Mines. All items are placed in inventory, not looted. And your tasks may vary!

Enchanter tasks:

The first item she needs is the head of a boogie man which is found in Breifine. Or a Phaeghoul's Hand from a Phaeghoul- continue past Koalinth Mines in Moher and Phaeghoul's gather around a tree just past a Dweller encampment.

Next she needs enchanted silver from a silvermine knocker or Enthralled Silvier in Coruscating Mines. To determine whether she has sufficient silver, she offers to make one item from a choice of blades, blunts, large weapon, bow, Celtic spear, piercing, shield, or staff.

She had enough silver to make a staff but needs an ancient text from a creature not alive or dead that haunts the Bog by night. OR a scroll from Irewood Greenbarks or some such in Lough Gur.(also seen in Bog of Cullen at 23k 9k along the upper zone wall)

This creature is a lesser banshee which drops a smithing stone globe. The song must be translated by an enchanter. After speaking to several enchanters in TNN, which may or may not be a part of this quest, I went to Connla and spoke to Eli who took the globe but said she needed a clarity stone for focus, and more time for study. She said she would call upon her fellow enchanters for assistance. Kern in Innis says moss monsters which are found in Breifine and Emain Macha have the clarity stone needed.

Take the moss monster stone to Caolan near the vault in TNN who provides a translation. Return to Ilisa with the translation and she asks for one additional item which is the essence of dead from a Bean Sidhe found in Cruachon Gorge, loc: LOC = 51300, 20500 (New Frontiers Cruachan Gorge loc 45027,27940,8152 dir=249 and loc=41k, 28k they con green to a 50.)

With this final piece returned to Ilisa, she again offers a choice of weapons. Enchanters receive a Silvered Spellbound Enchanter.

Nightshade tasks:

I had to kill a White Boar (MOB like a torc, I knew that when I saw one) for a TUSK . New Frontiers loc=58737, 15997, 7988 Mt. Collory, NE area of Collory in a penned in area with curmudgeons.

To find theses MOBs, go to Druim Ligen gate, enter Cruachan Gorge, go to the right, climb the cliff and keep running along the south border of the zone. After a moment you will hit the place where the White Boar are located (loc=45499, 56589.)
Take care there are always MOBs near the borders of zone.

These White Boar cons yellow to orange at level 40 which could be a problem for a level 40 Nightshade.
More of this, there is a real problem !
When you check the White Boar, they are neutral, so you pull one and fight it. I was very suprised when up to five came fightning one after the other (not all together). After the first kill, I have checked my inventory but found no TUSK. As I said I was obliged to fight other because they came asis. I think that they were now aggresive, but when I checked they were neutral.
So if you go there, have strong friends with you.

Champion tasks:
NOTE: all items appear in your inventory, so I didn't see a need to write them all down.
1. Speak with Lasairiona the Champion trainer in Tir Na Nog. She will send you to speak with Ilisa, the smith in Mag Mell.
2. Speak with Ilisa in Mag Mell. She will send you to kill a Phaeghoul. I found these in the Cliffs of Moher (approx. loc of 10k, 55k). They con yellow at level 40.
3. Back to Mag Mell. Give Ilisa the Phaeghoul item. She sends you to the Coruscating Mines to kill a Collared Gemgetter. Once you enter the mines, move forward to the end of the hall and turn right (the only way you can turn). Move forward again into the room with the wooden posts. Go up the ramp where the posts are and take a right. The Gemgetters are at the end of the hall. They con yellow and orange at level 40.
4. Back to Mag Mell. Give Ilisa the Gemgetter item. She sends you back to the Coruscating Mines to kill a Geasbound Hewer. These can be located at the same place as the Collared Gemgetters in step 3. They con yellow and orange at level 40.
5. Back to Mag Mell. Give Ilisa the Hewer item. She sends you to Treibh Caillte (the dungeon in Lough Gur) to kill a Rock Golem. I found one of these sitting at the entrance down the ramp. They con yellow at 40.
6. At this point, I had to take the Golem item to an enchanter. After visiting several, the one that worked was Sadhbh in Tir Na Nog (inside near the East Gate). Sadhbh sent me to kill a Moss Monster. I found these in Breifine at a small tower SW of Dun Bolg - if you stand at Dun Bolg and look SW, you can see the tower. The Moss Monster conned yellow and orange at 40.
7. Back to Tir Na Nog. Give the Moss Monster item to Sadabh. Sadabh sends you back to Ilisa in Mag Mell.
8. Talk to Ilisa in Mag Mell. She sends you to kill a Bananach in Briefine. These are found in the exact same place as the Moss Monsters in step 6. They con yellow and orange at level 40.
9. Back to Ilisa in Mag Mell. Collect your reward.

Another Champions take on the quest, submitted by:Punkymonkey of Merlin:
1) Kill a Boogieman and bring back its head. Boogiemen are found in Breifine between Dun Da Behn towers 2 & 3. Con grey to 50
2) Back to Ilisa
3) Kill Enthralled Silvier, Corusating mine. Enter mine and turn left before the ramp. Frst tunnel right and I found my guy.
4) Rock Golem in Treibh Caillte. Quickest way there is through Abandoned Mines.
5) Rock Golem drops a book that needs to be taken to an enchanter. Not all of them can do the translation, so take it to Enchanter Sadhbh in TNN. She can be found near the area at the east entrance where most of the armour merchants are, she's in a hut.
6) Kill a white boar. These are also in Frontiers. They're in a pen with some Curms...aggro.
7) Take the tusk of the boar back to Sadhbh in TNN.
8) Kill a Bananach. They are in Breifine SE of Nged tower 4. loc roughly 37k, 33k.
9) Back to Ilisa for reward.

Bard tasks: send in by Bram

1. Speak with Bard trainer in Tir Na Nog. She will send you to speak with Ilisa, the smith in Mag Mell.
2. Speak with Ilisa in Mag Mell. She will send you to kill a Phaeghoul. I found these in the Cliffs of Moher (approx. loc of 10k, 55k). They con yellow at level 40.
3. Back to Mag Mell. Give Ilisa the Phaeghoul item. She sends you to the Coruscating Mines to kill an Enthralled Silvier. They con yellow and orange at level 40.
4. Back to Mag Mell. Give Ilisa the item. She sends you back to the Coruscating Mines to kill a Trammer. They con yellow and orange at level 40.
5. Back to Mag Mell. Give Ilisa the item. She sends you to Treibh Caillte (the dungeon in Lough Gur) to kill a Rock Golem. I found one of these sitting at the entrance down the ramp. They con yellow at 40.
6. At this point, I had to take the Golem item to an enchanter. You can visit up to 4 enchanters, 2 in Tir Na Nog, 1 in Connla and 1 in Innis Carthaig. I got lucky at the enchanter in Innis Carthaig. For the translation to work, i had to go kill a White Boar, which can be found in Cruachan Gorge, near the zonewall behind Dun Ailinne. Allthough these were neutral before and after the kill, the other boars will attack when one of them is killed, so be prepared to run or take some friends with you.
7. Bring the item to one of the 4 enchanters and get the translation to Ilisa in Mag Mell.
8. Talk to Ilisa in Mag Mell. She sends you to kill a Bananach in Briefine. These are found in a tower near Dun Bolg. They con yellow and orange at level 40.
9. Back to Ilisa in Mag Mell. Collect your reward.
