Sanidon Magical Sand -- Kill Task

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Orlaith, in Necht, needs some magical sand to make vases, kill Sanidon's. Orlaith says, "Hello there, I am Orlaith, a potter in these part. I was wondering if, perhaps, you'd like to help me with a little [quest]?" Orlaith says, "It's a simple one, really. I need some magical sand from a creature called a [sanidon]." Orlaith says, "They camoflague themselves in the sand around here, but I know their sand can help me make the most beautiful glass vases of all time! Do you think you could [get me some] sand?" Orlaith says, "Oh thank you, thank you! Like I said, the sanidon roam the sandy beaches of this area. Be careful, though. They are fierce hunters as well. Good luck!" Sanidons are located just outside Necht gates, and along the waterfront. (for this quest I was awarded 17mil xp at 39) |

This quest is definitely not worth the effort. Two of us spent 7 hours on the shores outside of Necht and we each received 1 sand. that is all. It did not pay 170 million exp either. I am level 41 and I received 10,485,760. The shriller egg quest is even worse, in the same 7 hours we did not receive even one shriller egg. If you are looking for a kill task, do the white boar kill task in Chruachan Gorge. You get decxent exp for the kill itself since you get the outland bonus. PLus in 3 hours I received 8 tusks worth over 13 million a piece.

I have been outside the gates of Necht for 2 days now and must of killed 50 of the Sandions and not a one of them have given me sand. I spoke to Orlaith and she talks about the quest but I don't get a confirmed box don't know if that is the reason or not. I'm thinking at this point it's possibly broken. I will appeal it. On a side note though I have recieved Alligator Meat and have got 17million exp per turn in if that helps.
