Sevaldric says, "Hail, friend! My name is Sevaldric and I reside here in Jordheim. I must admit though, I am a well [traveled] dwarf."

Sevaldric says, "I have a liking for import ales. One of my favorites is Albion's Prayer House Ale. They have so much more flavor than the domestic ale we get here in Midgard. The ale here tends to be watered down in comparison. It is of lesser quality and just not [satisfying] to my palette."

Sevaldric says, "To my sheer delight, The Teetering Tomte has taken my advice and has begun a new brewing process which has produced quality ale similar to my beloved imports. Now after enjoying this, when traveling within Midgard, I am subject to drinking that [horrid] domestic ale."

Sevaldric says, "I had a grand idea to petition the King and have him require all breweries to use a standard method, so the quality is equal across the realm. I even brought the King some of this ale to try, as I know he loves ale like any good Midgard citizen. My only problem is that I forgot something while in my rush to present my grand idea. I need something for him to compare it with."

Are you willing to help Sevaldric so all of Midgard can drink quality ale?"
You have been given the Telltale Ale quest. [Level 50]

Sevaldric says, "Wonderful, another ale lover. Well I have [two ideas] of how to convince the King besides the keg I brought."

Sevaldric says, "I think I should either present him with a [keg] of one of these lesser quality ales or with the new [recipe] The Teetering Tomte is using for their brew. Which do you suggest?"

Sevaldric says, "Go speak with Banak in The Teetering Tomte. He was the mastermind behind this new brewing process. He will have a recipe we can show the King. This will also save the King time in tracking down how to make the marvelous ale for the other breweries. Hurry back as it is almost my turn."

[Step #2] Go to the Teetering Tomte and speak with Banak. He created the new brew and will have a [copy] of the recipe.

Barkeep Banak says, "Welcome to The Teetering Tomte! What may I get you, Healer?"

You tell Banak of Sevaldric's idea and that he requests a [copy] of his brewing recipe for his ale.

Barkeep Banak says, "I am not so sure I wish to do that. Why would I want to share my recipe with everyone and possibly lose customers to the other taverns."

You try to persuade him by telling him maybe they would [name the ale] after him or he would even get profits for the use of his recipe.

Barkeep Banak says, "Well if they named it after me everyone would know who made it and I would be ok with that. You will have to ask Sevaldric about [profits] for me though."

Barkeep Banak says, "Here is a copy of the recipe I used. If you notice, I wrote the name down too, Banak?s Brew. Tell Sevaldric to visit me after he has spoken with King Eirik."

You receive the Recipe for Banak's Brew from Barkeep Banak!

[Step #3] Return to the throne room and speak with Sevaldric.

Sevaldric says, "You have made it back just in the knick of time as I am about to [speak] with the King."

Sevaldric says, "Do you have Banak's recipe for his amazing ale? Please hand it to me."

Sevaldric says, "Seems he named it after himself, Banak's Brew. He deserves that as he is a genius if you ask me. I will see if the King will [compensate] him for this as well."

Sevaldric says, "Seems I also owe you some compensation for your assistance. Please take this reward as my thanks. You have helped me immensely and hopefully all of Midgard will be thankful as well."
