It would seem Kelda only spawns now every 7 DAOC days and no longer drops the studded version of the gloves but only the leather version!

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Kill Kelda, get some great gloves. She is located near Piercer, who used to drop these gloves in studded. They are now leather. She spawns in the Svartalf camp next to the fire. If she is not there, kill one of the named that is, ie. Golga or Chaes and she will eventually spawn. Chaes is a one time drop also. It would seem that Kelda doesn't even spawn at the camp anymore or may have been removed for quest purposes!
I spent 3 real life days camping the site for Svarts and Golga and Kelda never spawned.

Last night I saw Kelda in the camp. When I swung around to get a better view, Golga was standing right next to her.

Just spent 4 game-days camping this spawn...Kelda never showed up. Was this nerfed in the latest patch?

I am a level 16 Thane, and even if you neutral to them, once u pull Kelda, the enchanters in the vicinity begin to nuke u, irregardless of your standing. If u run, only one enchanter follows with Kelda, but still, they are pretty tough for a yellow and a blue. I tried killing Kelda 5 times and died twice. Gonna try it with a group or when i am of a higher level.
If you want to be neutral to these it may help in the quest, go and kill a few werewolves in Myrkwood.

kelda is in the camp in west svealand at approx. /loc 40k 55k. it's a big camp and can't be overseen.
kelda is always linked to at least one other svartalf. when i killed him, it was a chanter.

If I remember correctly, from a while ago, Piercer was located on next to a rock outcropping on the top of the cliff across from the camp. You may want to try looking over there if this mob was meant to replace Piercer.

To the best of my knowledge, kelda is located in the svartalf camp just outside of huginfel. You may have to kill all the svarts a couple of times to get her to spawn.
