DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest.

Talk to your trainer in TNN who sends you to Brigit in the palace. She refers you to Robena the harper who is in a building south of the palace (loc=22745,21416).

Then you need to speak to Seren, in Tir na Nog near the dye merchants, who tells you to find the faerie court in Cursed Forest.

The faerie court (night-dawn only?) apparently has random spawn points, but was found at approximately 50k/53k (found 4:30am at loc=34k,50k). Court consists of red con'd (to a lvl 47) jesters and advisors.

After you kill them (Adviser, Maidens, Jester) and receive the first half-moonstone, return it to Brigit in TNN for your reward.

Rewards:
  • Enchanted Gold Chain -- Enchanter

  • Cloak of Night -- Nightshade

  • Ring of Nature's Song -- Bard

  • Lifter's Belt -- Champion

  • Rewards:
      Enchanted Gold Chain
      Cloak of Night
      Lifter's Belt
      Ring of Natures Song

At 4:30 am, I found the Court at 34k/50k. At Level 47 they were made up of a red-con Advisor and Jester and promptly owned me. The Advisor casts. Bring friends!

The Faerie Court is comprised of the Jester, the Advisor, a couple of Faerie Maidens, and a couple of Faerie Steeds. You do *not* need to kill them all to get credit. The stone is located on one of these mobs, seems to be random which.

My advice is to pick off the solo members of the court first --- they're really easy to duo. There's a good chance one of the solo mobs will have the stone.

Btw, to find the Court, the best strategy seems to be to park an alt at each of the four easy pop locations --- 11K 11K, 19K 16K, 43K 13K, 52K 11K. The Court is up from about midnight til 6:30am.

The court level is red to 49 and orange to 50. However they hit like trucks and have a ton more health. They also parry like someone with 40 parry as well and they also cast spells.

In anycase I pulled 1 solo and a menty dot healing me (I am 49 bard) I could not kill it. We tried with menty blasting and that didn't work either.

I suggest at least half a group of folks before you do this. Which means more than 1 person sitting around waiting for night to fall then running around trying to find the spot they spawned at.

Seren is no longer located at the tavern. Mythic has moved her near the dye merchants.

    Where to Find Them
    # May 23 2003 at 5:48 AM Rating: Excellent

Seeing how the breakdown here is useless, here we go.

It is a night spawn. There are 4 places that the faerie court can spawn.
    Loc #1: 20K/17K
    Loc #2: 10K/11K
    Loc #3: 57k/11K

I was never shown Loc 4 because it's supposedly in a really really scary area. /shrug so we stuck with the having a 75% chance.

It took 3 night spawns to get the court in one of the 3 locations we had. I can't really go into much detail...rumor has it they heal each other but I never saw anything but grainy dots as my eldritch guildie blew the heck out of everything.

EXCELLENT exp on the turn-in of half-stone. 1.4 billion at lvl 45

Help! I'm trying to complete this quest. Is there an order within which you have to kill the fairie court? We've tried killing four maids while queen is up, then killing queen. Nothing. Then we tried killing just queen and her maid. Nothing. Help!!!!

    The rewards are class specific.

The Nightshade rewards are (forget which is which)

    Jewel:
    +3 Envenom
    +3 Crit Strike
And some ability bonuses (Forget which)

    Cloak:
    +3 Stealth
    Some ability bonuses.

They're nice items, don't have stats written down offhand though so that's top of my head
What good is the chain to a Shade?

Just started this quest but i don't see how the reward is of any use to a shade... +3 enchantments? Was this an error?

I did look, but shades are offered this quest by our trainer.. so it's not just for Enchanters.

The question is, has any other shade out there completed this quest yet and was the reward shade related or as written in this spoiler?
