DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Aziliz (located on the isle across from Tir na mBeo and Argagh) asks you
to investigate the gurite occupation. She sends you to see Solas in Shannon
Estuary near the Ceanlia village.

Solas requires the head of a Curmudgeon Fighter before he will speak to you.
Seek out Curmudgeon Fighter either in Lough Derg or near Innis Carthaig along
the shore of the lake (loc=46, 28 Lough Gur.)

Once Solas receives the head, he speaks a few things about the gurites
but Trefor in the gurite raider camp will have more for you. However, he
will want two druid daggers. Trefor loc: 6k 53k on the west side of Lough
Gur. Druids can be found on a hill in Bri Leith or the west side of Lough
Gur (Loc=7, 33 Lough Gur).

Upon delivering the daggers to Trefor, he will ask you to retrieve a treasure
from a named cluracaun, Smirky. His loc is 31k 18k. You may find him
at night but possibly have to kill a few regular cluricauns to get him to
spawn. Killing Smirky gets you a "smirky's ring."

Deliver smirky's ring to Trefor. He doesn't detect anything special with the
ring and brushes you off. He gives you the ring back while doing so.

Return to Aziliz and speak to her. Give her the ring. She begins to study
it and asks you to tell Trefor that you "would like to do more treasure
hunting."

After stating that to Trefor, he sends you to Iago (right across the fire
from Trefor). Iago has a plan that involves a special named curm, Curmie.
His loc is 49k 29k near Innis. He gives you a sack of rotting fish in order to lure Curmie out.

Give Curmie the rotting fish. In the process, Curmie somehow dies. You
may be jumped by some lower level curms (fighters, poachers, etc). Iago
appears and exclaims that you are apparently of no use and states you
should find your own way home.

Return to Aziliz and state that the gurites "search for treasure of the lost tower of tir na mbeo." She states in the process that the ring was lost
long ago and was overlooked by the gurites of its value. She rewards
you with a decent amount of exp some gold and an item.

The easiest place to find Curmudgeon Fighters for Solas is 46, 28 Lough Gur.

Druids can be found around 7, 33 Lough Gur

Took a horse from Culraid to Innis. Spotted Curmie just before I got to Innis in the trees. As soon as I gave him the fish he disappeared and Iago appeared nearby. I checked my quest journal and it said to find Curmie. Don't lose him but don't kill him either. Looked all around the woods in that area and couldn't find him anywhere. After a little bit Iago told me to go home. When you give Curmie the fish, watch him to see if he takes off running or just disappears.
You guys have any trouble finding Curmie?

Smirky is a day or night spawn you just have to kill some cluracaun's first.

Curmie is a regular spawn, almost always up near the town of Innis Carthaig. You will find him just inside forest from Innis and just off the path.

you usually run right into him, cause he walks on the road leading to innis. jump off the horse near the treehouse where this blademaster roams and search the way. curmie usually stands on/right next to the road where the trees end...
should be ~ loc 50k/35k in lough gur.

oops, didnt see loc above. 49/29 might also fit ^^

just finished this quest. be prepared for loaaads of running.
nevertheless, the story is quite nice and the reward is a good one too.
    btw, reward for enchanter/mentalist/eldritch is:
    Brigh Bann
    Lv 24 Belt
    2 Power
    4 Intelligence
    12 Hits

and...if you havent already...you need to make siabra faction neutral before you start this quest. the whole trefur/iago-camp conned purple to 26 (xept trefur and iago, they were red, but guarded and in the middle of this camp ~~)

Jeez this quest takes forever..... but...

Started as a lvl 24 ranger, got the two druid knives from the druids in Lough Gur (Yellow con). Then, after seeing all the high-purple aggressive aggro going towards the gurite camp, I decided to come back later. Now lvl 25, and have found that the easiest way to get to the gurite camp without getting aggro is to head S from the stone where Smirky sits (btw, he conned orange to me the first time I killed him, and yellow the second) just past the end of the forest. Turn right (West) and head to the zone wall. You should pass just N or TC.

Once you hit the zone wall, just head due S til you hit the Gurite camp. I hope you have good siabra faction cause everybody there is purple exect for Trefor and Iago.

Found a hill to the NE of the Gurite camp that is full of Melancholy Fairies. Conned Purple-Agressive to me. Will finish up this quest tonight.
