DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Per Patch 1.37:
Quest: Fortune of Few. Armsmen were receiving a Embossed Crossbow reward for this level 11 quest. For those Armsmen who wish to receive a usable item for their level, please return to Master Graent. You can hand him the Embossed Crossbow and you will receive a Belt of Battle in exchange.

Per patch 1.71:
- Fortune of Few - Master Graent will once again accept crafted war mattocks in addition to the store bought ones.

Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest.

You speak to your trainer and he states that Master Graent is planning on running some training classes, but unfortunately his shipment of weapons that he needed for this did not arrive and he is desparate for weapons to train his students with. If you agree to help him with this, he gives you slightly more than 11 silver to go buy 5 bronze war mauls and take the Master Graent. The amount he gives you equals the cost of the war mauls. Click the item picture, not the name. These are considered Large Weapons, and Ethan Farley in Camelot sells them (hut in the middle of hut # 55 ( map in Official Strategy Guide) with the blue and white striped roof ( right in front of you as you pass by the Old folks named Pritchard ( they used to OR still give free /level armor) Purchase these and take to Master Graent

After you do this, he states that you are trustworthy and, since he is now not going to have to cancel his classes today, he needs your help again. He needs you to run to the bridge by Salisbury Plains (southeast of Prydwen Keep) and take a food shipment to Sergeant Grum, because he has not received his shipment. He can be found south of the bridge patrolling the area, and doesn't stop long to be disturbed. You give him the food shipment and he thanks you and tells you to return to Master Graent.

When you return to your trainer he again praises your trustworthiness
and, as a token of gratitude, gives you a reward.

Official hint (from Camelot Herald):
  • Players getting the message "Item number not listed" when trying to buy bronze war mattocks need to pick up the mattock icon so it’s on the cursor and then click buy instead of just highlighting the item and clicking buy.

  • Rewards:
    Ring of Clarity -- Friar
    Embossed Crossbow -- Armsman
    Bracer of Deftness -- Scout

When you get this quest as an Armsman, You get a crossbow as the final reward. I got the quest and completed it at level 11. Armsman can't use a crossbow until 15. It is Yellow to me now. I guess by the time I can use it it will be blue or green.

I believe you don't actually get the spells for having your skills up'ed 2 points but get the benifits for having the skill higher.

ie. Healing for 10 more points if your skill actually was 8 (if your skill was 6).

    not just friar
