Throatripper is still just lv 5, if you get to lv 8 he is gray to you = no remains.
Still in same location.
Sometimes he spawn without u killing wolves in the area, sometimes you have to kill quite a lot of them for him to spawn

Throatripper can be found just north of the guard tower near the church in Black Mountains South. You have to kill a few Black Wolves to get him to spawn. Loc of tower is about
5498,58891. He drops at least Rippers Pelt and Throatrippers Remains.. The remains make a nice wolf trophy.

"Ripper Pelt" only drops if you have the Ripper quest from Lieutenant Jursen.
