Dunter  

Dunters are are mostly yellow to me as a 34 Cabalist but there are a few blues and oranges. There is also a named Dunter (Colk) who is red to me.

Indeed, they were orange to me in my 27th season.

I've just started hunting Dunters again, but now they also drop Dunter Heads. Since these items are capitalized they should be to some quest or magical. Does anyone know what to do with them?

Dunters are particularly susceptible to smite spells. I am a 34 merc who has been soloing yellows and oranges there since 30. Good xp, especially the group near the ruins (closest to the lake)(nice camp bonus). Water Seers Stone is worth just over 1 gc and drops approx once every 3-4 kills. They also drop leather and cloth armor. They need to be pulled as they will aggro if you get too close...short bow range will gaurantee solo pulls. By far and away teh best xp to time to risk kills I have found in 34 levels.
