Lord Gildas

Realm: Albion
Type: Humanoid
Description:
Purple at level 50, very very hard. Same difficulty as the Archwizard Aideon, he blocks and parries like mad, very hard to hit. He dropped nothing when we killed him but I assume like Aideon he drops something of his own thats not like the other randomized drops. Gildas is in the bottom of a pit that looks EXACTLY like the pit where the scaled fiends hang out in barrows, if you peak down on the left side of the bridge you can see him in the area where deep goblins would be in barrows.
Minimum Level: 55
Maximum Level: 60

Lord Gildas was a long battle but pretty strait forward. There is a lot of agro leading to his room with fast spawn rates. Once cleared, you have to kill his guardians, his paladin and his wizard which are inside with him, all red or low purple. Our first time, we did this fairly easaly. We pulled the guards, killed em, then pulled the paladin and killed him. For some reason Lord Gildas agroed after we killed the paladin (the wizard did not) and so we fought him. Our group consisted of:

50 Spearo
50 Blade and Board Hero
50 Champion
50 Druid x 2
49 Bard
50 Ranger
50 Warden

The blade and board hero was the only one that taunted, and she held agro most of the fight. Everyone else attacked him from behind. It was a long battle but pretty easy other than that. He hits from 500-900 against epic scale, but he swings slow, so any good Druid can keep the Main Assist healthy. We killed him and he dropped nothing.

We then killed the wizard and explored a bit. To the right of his room we found an opening (the skin for the room is the one from Keltoi with the tombs and the hole that leads to some caves, where you have to go for the level 43 part of the paladin epic quest). We explored it but there was nothing inside. Just as we were leaving the paladin, wizard, guards and Lord Gildas all spawned. We thought we were dead, but our blade and board hero kept Gildas busy while we killed first the wizzy, then the paladin, then the guards and then Gildas. we did the same thing to him as before, yet this time he dropped a Noble Arcane Spear, a black longspear that glows purple at the tip. I, of course, was thrilled, being the spearo that I am ;)
