The Rift itself isent hard, the adds make it complicated. But just have a pac healer aoe stun em and smack em with pbaoe and its a cake.

The Rift dropped a pair of named leggings, The Rift's something something leggings, 97% qua, dident even have a proc, crap imo.

IF you kill it, does it close the portal so the morkenhet stop spawning? And does it make the original morvalts at the desk reappear?

We had two groups or so focus on the adds. Supp SMs work great on add patrol since they tend to stack. Everyone else whacked the Rift. You have to target the Rift with your hot key for nearest monster. Keep your healers down at the base of the stone with a couple of aggro magnets near for the adds that make it down.

As a warning, our raid was supposively the first known on Kay to take it down (May 18, 03) and it dropped no loot, spammed no death message and rewarded no experience. Alot of us /appealed and a CSR spoke with our raid leader. He was told tough break but no mob is guaranteed loot or experience.
