Dark Spire (Alb)

This is the final encounter zone for Catacombs. It is an instanced dungeon geared to a solid group of 8 comprised of level 50's.

Every once in a while someone in group maybe even you may not be able to go through the door after killing Lady Org. If this happens don't panic, two easy fixes that generally work are:

1) have person turn and sprint back to the room where Lady and Sir were and then run back

2)If that doesn't work, have person pull aggro from last room right before the door and then drag aggro with them to right before the door and let the aggro kill them. After player dies have them rezzed through the door.

Now remember while this player is working on taking care of the bug your group should still be working on taking care of and clearing first room because of the timer.

Standard group make up either tank group or caster group all have same basic requirements 1 S/S Pally, 2 Clerics, 2 other tanks (DPS), 1 Sorc....for a tank group add 2 more tanks or for a caster group add 2 ice wizzies.

In the tunnels leading to the spire have the pally be the main puller and MA, each pull will generally bring 3 mobs (but 4 will come every once and a while). Pally should always target the mob casters first (wizard, spellweaver, or charltans) With tank group have peeler tanks named in case mobs get on casters and healers. With caster group with icers, have tanks get aggro and stack mobs for icers to nuke down.

Killing named mobs
Pard and Bittern
1)Make sure all casters have medd for power
2) Have pally pull pard and stand in doorway
3) Everyone should be on Pard first, the target Bittern, and then what's adds are left that Pard spawned

1) Have everyone in group except Pally hide around corner out or LOS of this mob (back by the last open room behind the spikes)
2) Have Pally pull Scitalis and then sprint back to where group is waiting
3) If spawn of Scitalis is yellow plan on whether or not sorc wants a pet or not, if they do not or if the spawn is OJ, then kill it
4) Then kill Scitalis, she does AOE mezzes but usually can't get everyone, so no worries

Sir Anfortas and Lady Orguelleuse
1) before you you go in to kill these two make sure you have cleared the path to the crystal to the south, as once Lady Org dies the 4 minute timer starts
2) Have pally click to talk to to and initiate the fight with Sir Anfortas (his first hit is a pretty good one). Once he starts the fight just kill him.
3) Next target Lady Org, but DO NOT STICK or use DOTS on her, if you do she will teleport and you will get many un-neccessary adds that could wipe your group. Other than that just kill her.
4) Once lady drops have everyone sprint down and go in through the door

Inside Door and first room
1) Kill crystal all the way at the end of the first straight away after you went through the door
2) Go to entrance of next room and have pally pull the mobs, kill all adds first then drop Trapmaster.
3) Once Trapmaster is dead have one player right click on all the phalic looking obelisks and then right click on the big crystal holder in that room (this shuts off the blades, also this is where the timer stops after killing the Lady and SIr, so four minutes from her death you should done killing Trapmaster or be ready for trouble)

Second room
1) Have tanks wait at doorway while casters go down halfway to third room to take out the next crystal, once thewy have destroyed that they run back up to tanks at second room doorway
2) Wait outside door way for the mender to come to you, once he appears kill him (if you let him escape he repairs all the crystals
3) Once Mender is dead kill adds first then Magi Nhuli

Third Room
1) Kill all adds first to include the scout behind the fence that hards to see from doorway, before you target Captain-Commander Leyn
2) when attacking Captain-Commander make sure you pull him (whoever has aggro) back into the room so you are inside the room but facing the doorway. When the Capt gets to 20% (seen it once at %50 though) health he'll spawn the "possessed runner", when this happens everyone target and kill the possessed runner and chase him down as he will be running( slamming, roots, and mezzes are a big help on him)
3) Once runner is down go back and finish off Captain-Commander Leyn.

From there run down to the gate, before the gate you can target (casters) can target and kil the gargoyle thing across the way. At the gate if the player that got crystal when Captain and commander died used it the gate should be open, if not just melee it down, it's easy.
Next run around to the left and kill the KNightsguardsman whatever.... then make your way up the spire. DOn't worry you can't fall off the edge except at the very top end of it, past where you go left up the ramp to Morgana.... ANyways there may be some yeollow spawns along the way , but they won't aggro so just run by them. Have group meet up and med at ramp entrance to left to med up before going up to get Morgana.

1) DO NOT use DOTS or BLEED STYLES on Morgana..... id you do your end fight with Modred may be way more difficult
2) You can only get morgana down to %18 percent health, then group memebers should start porting across the way... if they don't port have them run into the red glow on their screen if they have their effects on

1) Have everyone med up first, if Morgana was faught properly if you have your effects on there should be nothing between you and Morgana when you face her after you have ported.... if you did not there wil be like this red curtain like thing there....
a) if curtain is not there have everyon except pally run in and go to the NE corner of Morgana's room, and tehn have pally target Morgana and use infuriate, and then run back to everyone else, Modred will spawn and chase pally to corner where everyone will attack and kill him without his spawns being able to heal him.
b) If curtain thingy is there as soon as you run through it you will be teleported right to Morgana and Modred will spawn immediately, same as up top, have everyone run to Northeast corner and every attack and focus on killing Modred, except the Sorc, the sorc hould be trying to mezz all adds.

Once Modred drops, you have finished Dark Spire and may divy up the loot.

Oh yeah, for those of you who don't know, when you do DS set up a BG for it.
BG invite (player name), get everyone in group in BG
once you go into dark spire from the Underground Forest set up the rest of the this
BG lootlevel 35

BG treasurer (player's name)

BG loot treasurer (player's name)

Well I know most people have done a million of these raids or at least like it seems that way..lol. But this is a guide for those who haven't done it in a while or have never lead a DS run and want to try, hope it is useful.
