note to theurgs

It's not a great dungeon for Theurgs solo or in a small group at this point. I've heard rumors that the pets falling through the floor bug doesn't happen on all levels of all dungeons, but it's certainly the case that anywhere in the first half of this dungeon, your pets will fall through the floor, and train you horribly.

To reiterate: do NOT use your pets in this dungeon. This unfortunately means I can't solo for crap in that dungeon, but luckily by the time you're level 10, you have targeted swordturn, haste, and damage buff, and some mediocre nukes (and possibly roots and mezzes) so you're pretty useful in a large enough group.

the one problem i have is its over camped what you have here is many people who dont want anyone to know about and the other half farming it makes this place very very bad for anyone also i have found people are also rude in there they dont want you in the group cuz they might not get a loot if you are in the group also a sad thing, hey if anyone reads this please take the time to share and be nice, no one owns the damn game jeeeez
Cleric damage bonuses dont work...
# Oct 29 2001 at 9:59 AM Rating: Default
I was dissapointed when I came here with my cleric. Normally against skeletons a blunt weapon will inflict addidtional damage but that doesn't seem to be the case in here.
Worse for me, the Smite range of spells is normally particularly effective versus undead. However in here it didn't hit any harder than it would have any other creature.
I'm hoping its just bugged and they'll fix it later.

I agree, I brought my cleric in there as well with the high hope of being able to do more then just heal. I mean we are supposed to be the scourge of the undead no? I think my smites actualy did less damage then normal and my blunt received a penalty in most cases instead of a bonus. If any programers come on here to read this stuff, yes please do fix it.

Are there any MOB's other than Undead? I have a sorceror and dependent upon a humanoid pet to charm.

There are no humanoids in this dungeon to charm, it's totally undead.

How to find Mithra
# Oct 23 2001 at 2:45 PM Rating: Default
Ok, as you are standing on the brown stone bridge, just along the river from Cotswald, start running along the path. you should be on the same side of the river as the bind stones.. the path you are on will beging to turn to the right and it will go straight for a while.. when that path turns back left again.. DONT TURN.. keep running straight over 3 hills and you will see Mithra up on the top of the next hill.. it will be a little up to your left.. Thats it, the door is in the back of it. Personally, it was CRAZY exp from 7 to 11. an i left with a full suit of forelorn, was a nice hunting ground.

to get to tomb of mithra go to the bridge that was mentioned before, go east until you hit the demon tower, then go south, pass over one hill, and on the second hill you see there is the dungeon. I came here as level 8 and left 3 hours later as level 10 =). A couple things I have seen drop here are golden mithral ring, which is +2 int, +to some hits, and musty leather jerkin, ac26, plus to des and str that my friar can use! Just some info and directions for you.

If you hang out at the bind stone at the bridge behing Prydwen keep. Have your back to the bind stone and keep the bridge on your right. Run forward over some hills to you come to an Obelisk. Turn left, about 45 degrees, and run towards a hill top. Around this area is the entrance to the Tomb. Go on in and have soem fun.

This is a great dungeon for low levels. You really dont need a small group of 15's, we were hunting here with a full group of about 5-7's. Since they Itemized the zone there is a lot of drops here, to include 3 types of armor that i have seen so far. The best of which being "forlorn" i.e. "sleeves of the forlorn", etc.
This is chain armor with a turquoise look, and if you are a highlander and have the Hauberk it will change your kilt to green plaid, very nice look. stats are af26, absorbs 27% and 5% bonus on all, not sure which peices do what, but helm is +2 to dex and Hauberk is +2 to str.

Hope this helps, this place is great if you can get a strong group you can enter their 7 and in no time all of you will be forced to leave to train a few levels worth of points and sell a full bags worth of stuff.

Raceln
Hope to see you all in game!

This place rocks for loot and exp. I was in a group of two and we killed 5 guards man and I got two pairs of Forlon boots. I soloed there at 10th and it got my pally up to 12th in no time. I'm still hunting there.

I found everything but the helm and vest. Is it by chance that you get the helm or vest or do you have to target certain named NPC for those items?

Also if anyone knows, what do you get when you kill the Roman Skel?

I wish you all well in your journeys :O)

I played this spot ALL night Saturday with a full group. We found a nice spot and pulled to it. VERY FUN. Took about 8hrs for a full suit of the Forlorn Armour to drop but it does have some nice stat bonuses.

Another thing, with a good group I was able to take my Highlander Pally from either 6th or low 7th Lvl to 10th over the course of my time there... I had a blast!
