I like what FFXIV did with the LS system. It's not your actual guild, more like a dedicated chat channel that also has its own status screen. And you can be in multiple LSs.
So we could all join the TINFS LS without having to sacrifice our ability to be in an actual guild.
Of course, I have no clue if anyone still plays.

GW2 still lets you join multiple guilds, too. I just haven't over there and still rep ZAM because I can't be bothered when I only play casually for the story.

Finally got to play some more, but I feel the game is slipping away.
I really want to like it, but Zenimax's total failure to fix game-breaking bugs is making me frustrated. Nothing like your Strife (Funnel Health/Swallow Soul) healing you for 0 health and every subsequent cast resetting that healing effect. Such value! And if I use a charge after casting Strife, the healing effect never lands on me, because I apparently charge out of its bouncing effect. And if I use Ransack while blocking, the ability goes off, does damage, consumes stamina, etc., but the armor effect on me never occurs. I mean, what the ****? It's like the game never made it to QA before being pushed live.
And I feel that the only viable way to level is with a robe and a staff. I went sword and board, maxed out my armor, and enemies still take me down in a couple of spell casts that are impossible to dodge in melee range. Not a fan of this style of play. It reminds me of GW2 leveling: pull one and the fight is too easy, pull two and it's tough, pull three and you die. I want to be a badass wielder of blood magic (or the closest thing I get to it in this game), not some dude with a shield who takes a fireball to the face.

Hmm, I went Heavy Armor and Dual Wield, and I have a lot of fun. Haven't run across any bugs in a while, either, but I am Templar, so maybe it is class specific bugs you are experiencing.
Anyway, I still have fun, but my playing is slowing down, I think I see the end in the future as well.

I canceled my sub today. I'm not bored with the game and wish I could keep playing, but things are too crazy IRL and honestly, I don't have the discipline with games to keep active subs when I'm this busy.

I resubbed. Then, two days before my sub renewed, I realized I had yet to log into the game. Yea, I'm done.

I've been playing FFXIV recently.
For two reasons, really.
1. I have so little free time that I need a game that I can pick up and play, or not, and get something from it.
2. That means it can't be something I'm playing for story, or that really demands much investment from me.
But I'm getting to the end of my willingness to play that, too. I normally play story-intensive games, but playing those in short bursts every few days is rarely satisfying.
So IDK what to do anymore.

Balick, and yeah, that's me. Dunno how long I'll be back, but yeah. I have 4 50s from running the low level daily, and not a single piece of endgame gear.
