I created a Group on the Bungie website for Zam posters. Nothing formal, but the site allows for real-time conversations and forum posts among the group which is a good way to find people currently online for strikes, PvP, etc.

The Queen's Wrath missions aren't bad if you have a good Fusion rifle to blast down shields. Preferably, multiple ones with different elements, but any will do, really. It seems to be the best weapon for removing shields that I've found.

I'd really like something like Warframe's defense missions (if I remember right). Waves of mobs, with boss spawns every X number of waves. After you kill the boss, you can choose to take the reward, or risk it by facing a new set of mobs at a higher difficulty, but with the chance of better loot.

Grabbed the Titan exotic chest from Xur for my Defender build. Drops me back down to 27 when I wear it, but that's alright. Finished the Pocket Infinity bounty and got a Plan C from an engram this past week, so I've got a lot of grinding for upgrades to do. I just need a Void damage Fusion Rifle and I'll have all the elements covered. Would like to clear VoG Normal this week.
I just hit 27 on my Titan. Also grabbed the exotic chest and helm engram (which turned into this) from Xur. I'm at the point where I can only level up by doing the final upgrades on my armor, which requires a ton of Ascendant Shards. My Last Word is also at the same point.

Right now, my boots have increased ammo for Pulse Rifles. I'm trying to find boots with Auto, Fusion, or Heavy ammo, with INT and STR that I can use. I want to work on a Striker build, thinking INT and DIS for Super and Grenade. I like the Melee and Super for Defender, trying to maximize times where I'm shielded.
I have a Plan C I'm working on upgrading, too. I want to grab a Void Fusion Rifle so I have all three options available.
I really wish you could save gear sets, and be able to swap into them with ease. Make it so you can't hotswap while in combat, but if you're going to make us carry different element weapons for different shields, it has to be less clunky to switch weapons out. The D-Pad is woefully underutilized. This is one thing that would work very nicely.

I jumped into a PUG for VoG last night. I had watched a few videos explaining the strategy on each stage, but holy cow is it hard when nobody else has a microphone. We started on the final boss fight, wiped a half dozen times, then disbanded.
The mechanics look really fun though, so hopefully I'll be able to find a group that: 1) is willing to actually communicate, and 2) isn't all hunters (except for me, obvs).

The last fight seems awesome. We didn't complete it, and I only ran the raid the one time. But yeah, I don't know how you'd really run it without mics.. it does require a lot of coordination.
Atheon finally dropped something nice for me that I didn't already have (unlike the 3rd pair of leg gear I got from the Templar): Atheon's Epilogue and Plan C! I just need the VoG helm to drop to complete my raid set. I'll probably attempt VoG on hard mode later this week, once I've upgraded the auto rifle a bit.
