Sedatives. And if you think that sucks, you're really gonna love the area where you get the Blood Rock.

Where do I get Sedatives from? I don't think I saw them in the merchant list.

The old woman in the Cathedral Ward safe area will give you like a half dozen after the Blood Moon comes out (one at a time; just keep asking). And you can farm flies in Byrgenwerth. Also, I think they unlock at merchants once you have the Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge.

... I may have been watching too many Let's Play videos on this game >_>

Dammit, she was the one I sent to Iosefka in order to get the Numbing Mist for the Amelia fight. How far from Forgotten Woods or the Nightmare Frontier is Byrgenwerth?

I think Byrgenwerth is the area right after the Woods, isn't it? Edit: The key for the area to get the badge comes from the area unlocked after beating Rom, btw. You have to look for a place to jump down near some crazy ladies right before the laser bridge to get it, iirc.

Yup. Right after Shadows of Yharnam. I'm not sure when I unlocked sedatives, they are spendy though. I mostly just healed through the frenzy. But if you do wear the ashen armor and Eileen's mask it helps a bit. You can actually resist the Frenzy burst if not getting more and it will wear off rather than smack you. Helped me on the mother brain area's some. I still think it's a absolutely terrible mechanic.

Especially since you already have Rapid Poison which took the place of Bleed from the main Souls games. What's really ******** is that Frenzy still builds even if you aren't looking at the creature anymore.

Frenzy and screaming are my two biggest gripes with this game. Still enjoying it in that sadistic sense of pride that these games give. Ailing Loren is nuts so far. I had to take a break and watch TV most of yesterday. I'm sure it will seem fun again tonight after work.

I guess I technically mislabeled it. It's more of a staircase than a bridge. But trust me, you'll know when you're in the right area.

Also, I gave some basic instructions on how to find the easy shortcut through the snake area to the boss a page or so back, iirc.

Note to Beast possessed soul: I don't fear you, you fear me ****. What a difference a day makes sometimes. Died on him over and over last night, today one shot. Stayed aggressive, kept on him, did not let him dictate the fight. Can I haz uber gems soon please?

Is that the big wolf guy who throws fireballs? Because those have proven no match for molotovs and the superior reach of the Big Giant Sword.

Yeah the one in Ailing Loren was a much stronger one than I had seen yet. He was real aggressive and was not stunning well. So I basically had to quit playing him timid and just go after him, which worked much better.

Slowly grinding souls so I can restock Blood Vials and Molotovs after successfully suicide charging the stupid brain during the 20th attempt. Haven''t decided if I'm going to fight Cobra or Super Metroid Mother Brain yet. Will definitely be using Pold's video as a guide on the battle.

So, I'm going a bit nuts. Slept on my wrist wrong yesterday and now it hurts to play BB(should be fine tomorrow). But I'm at endgame and wanna fight Gerhman and Moon Presence. So now I'm switching back and forth between reading Piers Anthony's Bio of a Space Tyrant series and learning about British politics on Youtube. Also tried playing the Toukiden demo. Some weird design choices but didn't hurt my wrist as much.

Hurt your wrist aye? You sure it was during sleep? *poke sorry could not resist.

I want to take on the final bosses too. But those damn chalices killed it for me. I hate them. I really do, so so boring. But I feel like I should do them before I complete the game. So what did I do instead? Quit playing and started playing Kotor.

Since chalices last into NG+ I should just go for it soon on the final bosses to get my sense of completion I think. Hell I might even do that today.

I have a large head and slept on my wrist. Would have been the wrong hand for what you're suggesting anyway. Smiley: wink

They really are somewhat awfully repetitive. But more than that, based on the suggested levels for taking them on, the last few should definitely be tackled in NG+. I think the suggested level for the final bosses is something like 95, but the suggested levels for the last two chalices is like 140.

You know what I did instead? Killed Uncle Marty (3 tries phase 2 is parry time). Forgot I still had him lingering out there. Now I has a Chikage. And I have always wanted to mess around with a Chikage. I might just play both games today. Shocking I know.

Beat the Shadow of Yharnam first try. Really happy I avoided the majority of the snake attacks.

So Shoji, when are you going to start uploading videos?

Chunks are d.i.c.k.s. Decided to try to get Chikage to +9 before flipping the NG+ switch. So yeah killing lots of blue eyes dragons werewolves. Also doing a bit more Ailing chalice to break it up. I blame you fooks for making me play Bloodborne instead of my laidback kotor thing. Smiley: nod

I didn't have much trouble, but I have an arcane build seriously boosting my item discovery. Were you using the Eye rune you get for killing the guy by the Rom fight whose name I can't remember?

Yeah I got 2 eye runes including his. Last one is in a isz chalice. I got a lot of high weapons though. Just know chunks won't be back until late NG+ and I was thinking of doing NG+ with Chikage for variety. Got a couple more chunks now, just a few more to go.
