Seriously that's what phones, tablets and laptops are for.

Well that and watching TV shows.

My phone doesn't internet, the kids have the tablet, and the laptop is a pain in the butt which no one likes to use. I suppose I could have logged in on the big computer and said something, but beating ugly aliens with a lightsaber is fun too. Smiley: grin

How? The only people I know who have a phone that can't use internet are my dad (who hates anything to do with computers) and my grandparents.

Well I guess it can technically internet, but it's more like the interneting you'd be doing in 2004 than anything people would recognize in this day and age.

I only got a cell phone because the Mrs. said I should get one; kicking and screaming into the future or something. Smiley: lol

I want one of these things so I can drop it down a flight of stairs into a toilet and it will still work. Anything less would have a pretty limited lifespan around me.

I'm glad my little one isn't overly destructive yet, unless you count the daily Kitty tackles.

That is pretty sexy. Definitely keeping an eye on that game.

Also, yay hockey! Netherlands vs Poland and the Dutch team started off weak scoring only once in the first half, then in the second half they ramped it up to 12 - 0. 11 goals in 35 minutes, just insane.

Might as well ask, since I have a friend in Slovakia who is obsessed. Do you play in the KHL? Or is there another European league?

Nope. Hockey is played on a field and is a very fast paced and technical game without (intentional) body contact. Although blood still happens when you have a ball and a lot of sticks swinging through the air.

I haven't seenn or heard of a death but broken collarbones, jaws and teeth aren't unheard of and sticks or balls hitting a face is a good chance of blood.

Also, I remember a kid of the opposing team in one of our matches getting a ball shot straight into his family jewels. Everyone on the field felt his pain for a second and he sat on the side with a bag of ice on his crotch for the remaining 15 minutes or so.

No intentional body contact, so no.
