I have... thoughts about this. But if a vaccine for COVID were given to the US from Russia, and talked up by our Paedo-in-Chief, would you take it?

If health officials that I trust recommend it, I'd take it.

Yeah, are we talking about a vaccine that originated in Russia but then passed FDA approval or are we talking about letting Trump and Putin give me a shot from the back of their van?

I'd rather die horribly than admit Russia has ever succeeded at anything.

I won't be taking any vaccines until i see how many of you die from taking it.

My wife is a triple threat on the high risk categories so will need to see how it affects seemingly healthy people first.

So...most(all(?)) of the remaining posters here know that I have an auto-immune whatsit fucking up my eyes (and most everything else) right?

Funny thing I've noticed in the last, say, seven years:

Viruses don't faze me. Year after year, waves of cold and flu go though here (the homeless shelter, you remember, right?).

Nothing. Not a sniffle

Having said that, if a BACTERIAL infection is around (strep, usually) I'm fucked for the better part of a week.

So, even though I follow all protocol for the masks and such, I like to think I'm, like, one of the guys who re-wrapped the copper coils on the generators in Boulder in the Stand.

Immune. Useful. Not critically important.
