Just started watching the reboot episodes of Dr. Who, the first episode wasn't as bad as most say.

Anyone watching one of the Pet Bowls? Kinda silly but beats watching the super bowel.

Well, as terrible as the "game" was, it might as well be considered the Super Bowel.

Hey gang! Long time, no see! Let's catch up, shall we?

Firstly, I just went though the last 6 months of post blindly upvoting them all giving green arrows to posts that deserve it, and you should all be ashamed at all the posts that weren't rated "Excellent".

Secondly, I'm now balls-deep into FFXIV. Who else is? What server(s) are you on? I'm on Adamantoise with a good handfull of other Lakshmi people. My character's name is Lilen Moiral, and she's really cute. I'm i90 WHM, i88 SMN, and just started working on GLD (PLD). Having a blast with both endgame and low level stuff and hoping to finally take down Turn 5 with my static this week (OMG dat SMN book!).

How's everyone been!?

I'm on Midgardsormr. There were a few Lakshmi people on it, but I think they've disappeared on me. Not like I play the game much. I'm trying to find a viable way to play more FFXI that doesn't include my 360, but the Wine installation on my MacBook Pro isn't workout. The game hangs after character selection.

Still watching a lot of Doctor Who. Just going over the episodes of the modern series. Last night I watched the Day of the Doctor in 3D. That was fun. :3

For what? Farming bayld? Have to keep killing mobs and damaging roots for evaluations.

Right now, I'm just farming sparks for reforging afs since I missed the last login campaign I missed getting the other limbus item. But I'm wondering if I should wait until I see the stats on new relic for head/hands/leg before making afs.

I saw darkdoom the other day, either he was afk or he did stfu.

Not specifically farming Bayld. But like what is the event in SoA? RoZ had Sky, CoP had Sea, ToAU had Salvage. (then like lots of nothing specials for 5 years)

What am I playing for in SoA?

delve and skirmish, I havent done skirmish and delve is alright, boss rushing can be fun but people get **** about what gear you have to have to join. Current best weapons are from delve, and are around the same as fully upgraded REMs (Though I think some of the new hardmode archangel fights drop that tier weapon too)

Seems farming AF1+3 is the best bet, as well as grabbing records of eminence gear to get you that far.

Oh and wildskeeper reives, I havent done that yet either but the gear it drops seems to be some of the best or close, and since anyone can go in and fight there is no finding a group issue, just go when the server is going (15k bayld to enter I believe, however doing records of eminence alongside reive farming with trusts makes it a pretty enjoyable grind imo)

I am! :D

I finally got started and now I get to send my weak character to other players or something. I'm not sure about that entire thing... I'll have to ask my coworkers about it. They're far more into it than I am at the moment. One of them came in to my office to tell me that he can blink tank now. I asked him if he was a ninja, and he was like yes! I laughed at that. He played FFXI on a different server.

Oh, you should toss me your FC then Sus. Mine's 3840-6826-4224.

The Summon action you're talking about is basically you perform some action, be it a normal attack, a powerful Special, or a healing ability (really, it depends on what you want) and you "record" that action through the Send option from the Summon Friend command in the battle menu. What I'll do when I'm setting up an action will be to save up a few BP by Defaulting a bit, then expending all but the last action by buffing myself (If I'm going for an attack I'll maybe use Invigorate from Monk a few times to boost my P.Atk to 150%) and then on the last command I'll go to the Send option, which changes the border of the Battle menu to show that the next action will be the one sent. I'll then select the action and execute it, and when it comes to that turn, you'll see that character hold out the crystal pendant (which will start to glow) and then perform the action, and immediately following the action, they'll hold the pendant up and a light will shoot from it.

Once the battle is over and your Exp, money, and job points are tallied up, you'll be taken to another screen that shows your character, your Mii, and the action performed, and it'll say that your Street Pass has been updated. What you'll need to do then is go to the Update Data option on the Save Menu (Save Game, Add Friend, Update Data, etc), and let it update the data. Though your Street Pass was updated with the action, you'll need to actually do the Update Data to send it out to your friends.

I beat the demo, but I haven't picked up the full game yet.

I just recently finished The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Had a lot of fun with that. Copied my save file to a second slot so that I could finish the game and restart on Hero mode. Then I decided to go back & pick up all the extra items & heart pieces I was missing.

Also been playing quite a bit of NES Remix on Wii U, then got really excited when they announced that there's a sequel coming out in a couple months. Smiley: grin
