Haley has a shirt now which makes her look a bit less saucy.

I guess (via third hand sources) that Burlew is treating the additional drawing detail as a sort of therapy for his still sorta-screwed-up thumb.

Has it ever been explained why one shoe is twice as big as the other, or is that supposed to be some sort of forced perspective thing? I don't know why it got to me this week of all times. Maybe because there wasn't really much in the strip.

It's a perspective thing. Roy makes a remark about it once and not remembering which boot goes on which foot.

Roy's sword hilt has texture on it now. Kinda cool! I'm curious why an airship, which appears to be held up by a balloon thingie (and can presumably hover), would crash if the propellers aren't working. Do they magically provide extra lift or something?

Evil Inner Durkon should have had a smirk.

I kinda like that he didn't. Evil Durkon seems to be 100% all business. No smirk kinda contributes to his character.

I like how the last three strips have been something of a lesson for all the people who assumed that Durkon entering the Northern domain would instantly result in a Thor smackdown. Narratively, Thor can't solve this for the heroes; they're going to have to work it out on their own.

Not overtly, anyway. He could be secretly nudging Belkar, though Belkar's also been getting pretty savvy lately, so it's probably just that. Unless Thor set that up somehow. But I don't think he's sneaky like that.

The instant Thor smackdown is still possible, all the comic just said is that Thor cannot interfere with the casting of Clerical Magic. There is nothing there that says he can't smite one of his followers who was turned into a vampire, or was possessed.
