Well, to be fair, it was the only correct answer.

I read a small blog or article posting about the episode and thought this was pretty funny:

Do you think she was able to leave a message for Coulson and the rest of the team, though? Like, maybe a big, "HEY YOU GUYS WARD IS AN EVIL SON OF A *****. P.S. IT'S KIND OF HOT. P.P.S. COME SAVE ME. XOXO SKYE" in lipstick on the bathroom mirror?

I actually didn't think of that possibility until now. She could have easily left a message in the bathroom for the gang when they came back.

I understood Marcus, too!

After a while ...

And they linked the name to the code name ...

... and I googled it.

I thought the whole Wade interrogation was a clever bit of complete and utter ********* Oswald shoulda shot his ***.

They really have been pulling out a lot of plot devices to make sure we know Wade actually does care about Skye.

I just can't decide if I think it's because they're trying to make him a sympathetic villain, or if it's because their endgame for the arc is Skye bringing him back in some way.

Yeah, I loved Coulson's response.

I was thinking tonight was the finale and I was all "well, that sucked" until I realized I was wrong.

And I wish you guys would stop with all the spoiler tags. If people don't want to know what happened, they don't need to be reading the freekin' thread until they've seen everything!

Off my lawn, etc.

Coulson geeking out, May with glasses and ponytail, and large file transfer.

Favorite episode.

Skye is a mutant marvel.

Yeah, I really enjoyed last night's episode. UNTIL THEY KILLED THE ******* DOG.

Until it's revealed next episode he actually didn't kill the dog. Also, why the hell was the bus flying so low?

The parents bit of this past episode does suggest they'll be playing with the origin if they go the Marvel route.

Yes. I know I am stating the obvious.

That, sure. But they're also flying under the radar, right? Course, at the speeds they're flying hitting the water in a metal box with no restraints is likely going to be fatal regardless of the height, but.... comic book physics!

So, is flower girl a kree too? Methinks she is.

Really, really, really hope that somehow the finale leads into GoG.

Please?

My current theory is that she's Skye's mother.

I doubt the finale will lead into it directly, but I wouldn't be surprised if they "end" it with a new trailer for GotG.

Don't know if she's a Kree, but she clearly knows something about what we're assuming is Skye's alien nature. She spotted something in Skye's DNA after like a day (in which she was also working on recreating the regeneration serum) that Simmons didn't despite her specifically looking at her DNA and the serum for weeks.

I don't think Skye and Flower related in a family sense. For one their names are too stupidly obvious for it. I really don't want it to be stupid obvious like that. Flower could be Kree, since the 616 Kree are known for experimenting on other species and that's what Flower is basically been doing to a lesser scale. Still going with Skye being a mutant marvel, and the reason Flower recognizes it is because she's familiar with the testing. Also, if I remember Ultimateverse, mutants were originally government created so there's that, too. This puts branches into both the Avengers and Guardians movies.

I dismiss the low flying plane to comic/action movie logic, because if I didn't then I'd have to question why a spy plane from the super spy organization that was hand picked by Nick Fury, the ultra super spy, could be tracked by radar in the first place. Then blood would pour out of my nose, ears, and eyes and I'd probably be hospitalized for the aneurism that line of thought would assuredly cause.

Um... Her name is Raina, not Flower. She just likes to wear dresses with flowers on them. Of course, that makes the names technically even closer (RAINa and SKYe). Hmm...

And yet, both planes were shown flying super low over water in the episode. Might want to stock up on cotton balls to soak up all the blood.

My mistake.

And yeah, Rain/Sky. Still pretty painfully obvious. And also we could pretend I meant nicknames, since Skye's name isn't really Skye but that's kind of moot. Either way I hate name association clues, which really drove me up the damn wall in Bravely Default.

"Oh God don't be Ultron, oh God don't be Ultron, BOOM! Oh God I can't stop laughing, oh God I can't stop laughing ..." *

All that Nick Fury. Ward vs May was awesome. All that Nick Fury. "I know what it does." Nick Fury. "PART of?"

I don't think that season finale redeems the season, but it certainly makes me want to watch next season. Cryptic Kree mystery schematic ending I could have done without. Overall 12/10 episode.

* I realize the last scene was a reference to his comic image sans pornstache, which was brilliant in itself. But this isn't 616 and didn't want it to lead to Ultron.

I'm not a comic person, so I LOVED this finale. So many questions, just enough answers. And yeah, Coulson with the death ray was priceless.

The season finale was pretty well thought out. Just the right amount of action and drama. I'm a little disappointed Ward didn't get killed off and Fitz "barely" survived but they're small points in a pretty packed in episode. Garret's last scene was truly troll worthy, but definitely worth waiting the whole episode to see. Sammy L not yelling is always a pleasure to see. Gosh, there's so much I could point out...

tldr: can't wait for season two now.

I'm waiting for the day or the movie or the show where I'll get to see Sammy L. get all romantic on some hot (but smart) long-limbed woman. He's an enigma in masculinity, but he's getting old. I fear his mojo is going to dissipate before I ever see it in action.

I don't think he needs to worry about his mojo. He can just yell at it.
