these http://camelot.allakhazam.com/item.html?citem=1374 are the ones from mithra, same stats and effects, different name.

Thought I'd clear up a little confusion on that part.

They (normal, not the silvered ones) seem to drop off any forest related critters tho, I have a friend that got a pair (normal, not silvered) off of a poacher, and other got em off of a cutpurse.

I got a pair off sylvan goblin hunters

I was doing the goblin bows quest at the time, first one I killed dropped em.

Very nice item for my lvl 8 scout to get from a green mob ;o)

who knows, they may drop in more than one area?

would be nice if they did
