If you salvage this thing, it gives yu 53 cobalt bars, which when trinketed translates to around 26 gold...I got 3 in an hour of hunting at 25, I was quite pleased :)

I just compared the Worm Tipper and the Coral Spear. These two spears, under the information given on this link is the exact same weapon with a different name. I like the Coral Spear being as it is an all "blue" spear. Anyone tell me what the Worm Tipper looks like, as I have never come across one yet?

The worm tipper has normal colored metal, and has that wavy blade~~~ as opposed to the barbed <<<<. I have never bought a war spear, but was told that's the blade type in question. Nothing other than the blade makes the thing interesting in appearance...but the Coral is pretty.

This spear is easily attained in the merman pond, just follow the river south from Howth, then take the branch that goes left. You will come to a pond with many Mermen inside, it drops off of the harder to kill ones. In two hours, myself (22 Champ) and a 23 Druid managed to get 3 of them and 4 Coral Vests. The spear cons Orange to me so I imagine its around level 24 or so. Hope that helped some.

These spears are also dropped by merrows (merrow maiden) on the larger island in the river south of Connla.
