I killed Dorbal from lvls 30 on, but the weapon did not drop until I hit lvl 34. Pretty good exp killing amadans and pookas in that area. Got a pretty nice necklace off a named giant cat called Faywen, or something similar, that sometimes appears and kills a pooka. He is lvl 35 or so.
