Per patch 1.69:
- Shades of Mist - The aged statue will no longer despawn when the Long Black Cloak is accidentally left to decay on the ground.

- Shades of Mist - When the Long Black Cloak is removed from the appropriate area, the criosphinxes will no longer cease combat, they will continue to pursue players normally. Additionally, if a criosphinx has stolen the cloak from a player and then chases a player outside of the appropriate area, the cloak will return to the aged statue.

Per patch 1.70
- Shades of Mist - Destroying the Long Black Cloak correctly returns the cloak to the Aged Statue.

The 3 Greater Criosphinxes which protect the aged statue in the middle of the arena can be pulled. But they cannot be harmed until the statue in the middle is right-clicked. A Long Black Cloak will go into the inventory of whoever right clicks statue, and will be stolen by any Greater Criosphinx.

Once the 3 Great Criosphinx are beaten the cloak will be returned to your inventory, when you leave the arena, the Long Black Cloak will transform to the Shades of Mist. You mst kill the 3 Great Criosphinx, if you try to leave the Criosphinx arena with the cloak with out killing them the item will disappear.

Cloak is "used by those who move unseeb and those who stand at the front of battle."

Regarding Shades 2 of 3 -- drops from from Taur Altheus at loc=38.1k,20.7k

Regarding Shades 2 of 3 -- drops from Kahket Siam-he warriors

Artifact levels from RvR and mobs in ToA Outdoors, New Frontiers, Passage of Conflict and Summoner's Hall.

Rate artifact gains a level when killing Mobs: 17M per 1%, among fastest of all artifacts
