Ghostly Knights are located at the Church Ruins in the SE corner of Avalon Marsh.
If you are asked to kill a Scrag you will need a "regular" SCRAG.. not a Marsh Scrag or a Scraggling, but a SCRAG.. they are located around a pond 55K, 51K.

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different This quest starts in Adribard's retreat. Talk with the Crier in the keep and he tells you to talk with Tyngyr Blade. Tyngyr is a weapons merchant in the second. He directs you south towards a ruined keep. Seems is daughter is now safely at Caer Witrin, however has lost some very sentimental items. Run past the bridge that leads to Caer Witrin, and watch for a ruined keep on the west (right) side of the road. The ruins are in a peninsula on the SE corner of Lake Witrin. The first item to be recovered for the daughter is being held by a Ghostly Knight. They are common here in the ruins of the keep. Knights were all green to a level 13 wizard. (Ghostly Knights are located at the Church Ruins in the SE corner of Avalon Marsh. ) The target for the bracelet differed for me and my friend. I the wizard, needed a Water Leaper to get bracelet. While my friend the Theurgist (level 11) needed a Bloody Bones. The Water Leaper was a frog that was found in the small pond across the road. The Bloody Bones are fairly common in the area.(another kill you might be given is a scrag, loc=55K, 51K) The two items are then taken to Caer Witrin. Tyna Blade is standing between the guards and the stable NW corner of the keep. She gives you a letter to take to her father. But for some reason stays at the Caer. The quest is completed with the returning of the letter to Tyngyr. He gives a silver and some copper for the quest. No item reward. Exp reward but not enough to move the exp bar of a level 11 character. |

Just to the north of that bridge about halfway down the central bodie of water I found a single Marsh Scrag, right next to the Bogman towers on the island

hmm..... Perfect for level nine ?? The scrags are all red and one grape.Im a lvl 9 Theurgist But, maybe they were killed right before i got there. Respawns may be higher. I will try again tomorrow and hope I find at least an orange =))

i got the quest in adribarts retreat, killed a ghost knight and got the first item. for the second item (bracelet) i've to kill a water leaper. i've killed about 20 water leapers without getting the bracelet. someone with the same prob or bug? please give me a hint. want to claer my journal.

Scrag is across the road from the Knights Keep, look for the two towers with the opservation platforms on top. Killed him there last night, he stands between the towers and you have to fight off all the other Scrgs to get to him.

Interesting-->I did this quest, got my items, returned the bracelet and pouch to T's kid, and then traveled letter to father. The quest is complete in my guide, but the bracelet, which was sooo precious to the kid was still in my pack! NBD, but i thought it was a twist! Did anyone else get to keep this family heirloom?

According to my journal, I have to kill a bloody-bone (not a scrag) to get the bracelet across the road from the ghostly knights loc. I have been looking and killing across the road for a 2 days, no Bloody-Bones to be found. I must be missing some simple clue (*&$%*@*$%#$). Please help!!!!!! I am a 19 pal and I just want this dumb quest off my journal.

Walk from Adribard's Retreat along the road as if you were going to the bridge to cross over to Caer Witrin. Instead of going to the bridge, take the left path and keep a sharp eye out for some "Death Grip Vines" on the side opposite to the scrag towers. There are bloody bones there aswell.

Got it at lvl 9 actualy, from the crier at the Retreat. Blade told me to kill a ghostly knight and a scrag.
To get to the ghost knights get on the main road and run until u reach the split. I went left, although the road goes in a circle so u can also go right and go over the bridge towards witrin, i knew the monsters over the bridge all conned purple and i wanted to get there alive.
If you go right: make your next left after the bride because if u stay on the road youl go to cornwall. the ruins will be on your left, dont get them mixed up with the fallen collumns on the right. keep going until u get to the trail that heads down to the ruins.
If you go left: pass the scragling hut, keep on going, youll see the ruins out in the middle of the marsh soon but stay on the road till you get to the trail that heads down directly to them.
There will be phantom squires (grey through blue to a lvl 9) at the top of the trail, just avoid there aggro range. Look down the hill, about half way down theres some blue ghostly knoghts standing about 10 ft apart. kill one. if u cant find one, then u must venture all the way down the hill, where the knights are orange (to a lvl 9) and linked to there partner (they travel in pairs. so its probably easier to wait for one to spwn halfway down the hill, unless your higher lvl and just want to get rid of this quest.
Time to kill the scrag: if u went left to get here go back on the main road and continue the way you where heading (so if u went right to get there turn around and go back the way u came) and in a few seconds there will be a steep hill visible to your left. the scrags are yellow and blue, the yellows travel in pairs and are linked, the blues wonder by themselves (again, this is to a lvl 9). Kill one, go to caer witrin. the chick is by the stable master. shell give you a bubble of exp and 1 silver, bring the letter to her dad after that back at the retreat for half a bubble and another silver (bubble of exp to a lvl 9)

I did this quest at level 9 and got excellent xp (more than a bubble, I think), plus found a great spot for soloing (the ghost knights). All told, I did more killing than required, but in about two hours I got five bubbles and about 50 silver including the quest... I thought this was one of the better ones.

Just did the quest, Lev 10 Merc. Easy one, almost a bubble of exp. I don't know why it didn't work for some, but for me, it was one of the better quests, exp-wise. A couple of silver I think for reward, didn't really pay attention, I was watching the exp bar.

Any old large skeletons, I see 1 or 2 by Marsh scrags and near that skeleton mound by the wharf. just kill 1 of them, and get this silly quest out your journal. BTW, I feel your pain...

OK boys, listen up. Your journal isn't lying to you, the Scrags ARE across the road from the ghost Knight's castle.
There are two ponds across the road; the one on which the Marsh Scrags' crumbling castle lies, and another smaller pond to the south of it.
The Scrags (not scraglings or Marsh varieties) are on the shores of this smaller pond. However, they are on the FAR side (east side) of the pond from the road. They range in level between 8 and 9, and are social. For a level 9 Theurgist, this was no prob, but be aware that they will assist each other.
Hope this helps some of you who have been pulling your hair out trying to figure out how to get this quest out of your journal.
BTW, at level 9, got a full bub of xp for this quest.

I have spent most of the day looking for a scrag...I found scraglings and marsh scrag's but not any plain scrags........????? any advice? this is getting old.

Being lvl 20, I went on a rampage and killed all the scrag siblings and cousins ( meaning Marsh Scrags and Scraglings ) and still no scrags. Incidentally, I was so pissed off, that I've committed massacre during day time as well as night time, thinking this might be a night spawn only, but no show :(

I've been procrastinating this quest what seems to be forever, now I am lvl 17, and I just want this quest to be gone from my journal. Spent all night running between Adribard's and Caer Wulfwych looking for these guys. I really need help on locating ghostly knights. Please help :)
