DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Brief Walkthrough: 1) Talk to Landrana at loc=31830,9297 Deadlands of Annwn 2) Kill Canis ater pups, near loc=31957,12645 Deadlands of Annwn, until you have collected a Canis Ater Pup Tooth. 3) Return to Landrana and hand her the tooth to receive your reward. lvl 24 received 2,000,000 experience and 26 silver. Dialog from quest: Talk to Landrana at loc=31830,9297,15848 dir=14 Deadlands of Annwn Landrana says, "Hm, did you need something, Friar? I am quite busy with [these teeth] I found here in the Deadlands of Annwn." Landrana says, "If you must know, I have never seen teeth like these before. I doubt anyone from the surface of Albion has seen these teeth before. I have been trying to figure [out where] they came from. I found them lying about on the ground in these Deadlands of Annwn." Landrana says, "As a member of the Defenders of Albion, I am charged with protecting Albion and its residents. To do that job, I must know who and what my enemies are so that I can best fight them. That is why I have been studying these teeth. A new enemy means [new challenges] for me to face." Landrana says, "Coming down into this strange world was the first of many new challenges I have faced recently. While others were reluctant to enter the world of the Inconnu, I was eager to engage new enemies in battle. After seeing these teeth, it has increased my eagerness to fight this enemy. But the question is, where do the teeth [come from]?" Landrana says, "I have a few people out collecting teeth from the creatures that roam these dead wastes, but no one has been able to bring back a tooth to match the ones I found. One of the Inconnu looked at this tooth and thought it might be from one of [the gnolls] out there." Landrana says, "You know, Friar, I'll pay you if you go out into the Deadlands and bring me the tooth of one of the gnolls out there. I'll be out there myself gathering teeth from these creatures, but the more people that are looking for these teeth the faster I can locate my enemy. What do [you think], Friar? Up to the challenge?" Will you obtain a gnoll tooth for Landrana? [Levels 24-26] You have been given the Mystery of the Teeth quest. Landrana says, "An adventurer after my own heart! I should have known when I saw you down here in this desolate waste. Now, I have teeth from many different gnolls already but I don't have one from a canis ater pup. That's what the Inconnu said he thought the tooth came from, and considering I don't have one of those, he might [be right]." Landrana says, "Go out and find one of these canis ater pups. I've heard they like to roam due south of here, just over that hill. Get me a tooth from one of them and bring it back to me. After I have the tooth I will give you your money. Oh, you may not find a tooth on every one of them, so keep trying until you find one." [Step #1] Find and hunt canis ater pups until you obtain a tooth from one of them. They can be found due south of Landrana, just over the hill. [Step #2] Return to Landrana in the Deadlands, near the entrance to the Upper Crypt. Landrana says, "It's good to see you haven't become a permanent resident of these Deadlands of Annwn, Friar. Were you able to acquire that canis ater pup tooth we spoke of earlier?" [Step #3] Give the Canis Ater Pup Tooth to Landrana. Landrana says, "Well done, Friar, well done! The two teeth match! Between your help and the Inconnu I spoke to before, my mystery has been solved. I shall sharpen my weapons and polish my armor and head out to face one of these gnolls for I wish to see just what kind of fighters they are. I cannot thank you enough for your help, Friar. Here is the money I promised you, Friar. Stay safe and defend the realm!" You are awarded 2,000,000 experience! You are awarded 26 silver and some copper! You have completed the Mystery of the Teeth quest! |
