DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different The following quest must be done before the "Stolen Spells" can be obtained. It starts with Vadri Pade, who can be found in a back room in the Magic Shoppe in Camelot. She wants you to learn about druids in Albion. (NOTE: It has been reported that you do not need to complete this quest to do the "Stolen Spells" quest.) Vadri Pade says, "Good day to you. I don't really have time to tell [the tale] again. Perhaps you could return later?" Vadri Pade says, "You do not know of the [druid tale]?" Vadri Pade says, "Ah well I suppose to could be persuaded to speak it one last time. Have a seat and let us begin." Vadri Pade says, "Our story begins many generations ago. Our land was inhabited by a barbaric people and little if any order existed within Albion. Then fromt he northern shores came a strange mix calling themselves Celts. They spread through our land and suppressed the barbarians, absorbing the culture into their own. The priests of this new race were named [Druids] and they dominated in both religion and all daily deeds." Vadri Pade says, "Yes! These priests are the very same that walk our lands once again. During the time of Arillius and Uther the push to rid our land of the Celts almost succeeded. Yet tolerance became the motive of Uther during his later years and was adopted by ARthur as well. This tolerance has unfortunately led to our current [predicament]." Vadri Pade says, "Have you not seen the druids that are encroaching into our area? One need not walk more than half-day to encounter them. These are our lands regardless of their attachment to the [standing stones]!" Vadri Pade says, "The druids have long practiced their pagan arts in and about these stones. I know not where the stones originated, but the druid fascination over them increases with each generation. I can only assume they believe the stones to contain some holy power. It must be this false belief that ties them to our lands. You seem [quite enthralled] by these druids. If you wish I could direct you to someone who would speak in more depth of this subject?" Dialog box: Do you wish to learn more of the druids within Albion? You have been given the Tale of Druids quest. Vadri Pade says, "There is a wizard who may be able to assist you. Master Kless has studied the druids at much length and often leads students in instruction. If you travel into Cotswold you can find his within the dye shop. I must get back to my cleaning now. We sometimes have problems with pixies and they get into everything. Best of luck to you." [Step #1] Speak to Master Kless at Cotswold. Ask him of the [druids]. See Master Kless in Cotswold and ask him of [druids]. He can be found in the last house on the right, as you leave Camelot and follow the road East through COTS. The garishly dressed Crier Pompin is standing outside, so you can't miss it. Master Kless says, "Good day to you! A question appears to hang about your lips. What can I instruct you in?" You say, "What of druids?" Master Kless says, "Ah! The druids of [new and old] hold quite a bit of history my friend. I would be glad to detail a bit of it for you if you wish?" Master Kless says, "Yes! While both still practice the basic paths taught them generations ago, it is the newest of druids that seek to reclaim that which they lost so long ago. Their hold on Salisbury and parts of the Campacorentin Forest are proof of this. Some have actually pressed into the Black Mountains seeking to claim land closer and closer to Camelot. There are many within our realm that now fight to ensure this spread will not continue. I know three thta keeps tabs upon the very movement of these druids and research their history in depth. Though I fear this will do [little to assist] us now, I am certain it will allow us to take greater action in the future." Master Kless says, "Already we are having difficulty in stopping the druids to our north. They gain greater courage the closer they come to Camelot. Unlike the [druids of old] that held land for a generation or so before moving on, these fruids move with blazing speed. Their thirst to reclaim all that was taken from them seems never to be filled." Master Kless says, "From what I've learned, once their priest had taken Keltoi as their primary place of learning the druidic spread all but stopped. They turned their attention to developing a culture within our lands and building places of worship. Now it seems these druids press into our realm as if on act of vengeance. Their only goal is to secure all land that was once their own regardless of the [bloodshed]." Master Kless says, "You should witness this for yourself. To be told the deeds of these people is nothing compared to actually experiencing their wrath first hand. If you would be willing to travel into the black mountains and [slay a sacrificer] I will reward you." Master Kless says, "That's correct! Bring me the sacrificer's dagger as well. I believe the hill they occupy is just north of the double bridge. Best of luck to thee." [Step #2] Travel into the black mountains and slay a filidh sacrificer. Return its dagger to Master Kless at Cotswold. 2. Kless will instruct you to go to North Black Mts to slay a Filidh Sacrificer and bring back his dagger.
