DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different This starts at huntress at Caer Ulfwych. She sends you to talk to the fletchers wife. She is making a jewelry for some noble and requires 3 items which have to be gathered in order. - First item, Crystallized Leaper eye. Can be found in Avalon Marsh near the bridge, blue to 18 - 20. - Second Item : Crystallized Basilisk Eye. Can be found in Salisbury Plains, Figure its level 16 to 20, - 3rd item : Crystallized Eye Of daddylonglegs : Granddaddy Longlegs can be found just north of Keltoi Dungeon, Spawns around 7am, Rare spawn, blue at 21. If you can find large bloated spiders, You should be able to find him. His loc is roughly 49k, 47k Return the first 2 items to the fletchers wife, and the Spider eye To the Fletcher -- Eiddin Walelden, and he will give you 2 items to take to Kealan at Lethanis Association. (Basilisk Skin and Leaper Skin). lvl 50 received 1,040,319 exp. Reward: |

Just finished and the reward for this L28 quest was a L16 chain tunic, already gray by the time you get the quest. Perhaps they'll upgrade this quest in the future.
I got this quest at L28 and my journal says it's a level 28 quest as well. Haven't finished yet, but hope the reward has also been upgraded.

For those doing this quest (once again) on the ARS servers:
The giant water leaper was orange to my level 24 paladin.
The basilks was grey.
Granddaddy Long legs was blue and BAF's.
I definetly do not recommend doing this quest solo at the listed level of 16 as most of the mobs would likely be orange or purple.

Quest actually begins with Eiddin Walelden, standing beside the stablemaster in Caer Ulfwich.

For Grandaddy Longlegs stand at LOC 54k 44k and look to the NE. You will find him roaming there. Night and day.

I just picked up the pendant quest. Not from the wife but from the fletcher himself. Don't know why, but check him too.

Got this quest at level 17. It was pretty fun.
The daddy longlegs is located, as said, SE of the Green Witch circle, and pretty close. The Daddy conned blue while his friends, which are LARGE bloated spiders, conned green and blue. DaddyLonglegs attacked me with three friends and I was taken down, but not after getting that big (he is HUGE) insect's eyeball! That motha pluka...
His loc is roughly 49k, 47k

I believe this quest is class specifc to only armsmen and paladins. I couldn't get it on my mercenary, anyone else try? I think I got the same reward from Kealan and his quest in Camp station on my mercenary. Just thought I should clear that up.

This quest resulted in my paladin getting better chain hauberk from Kealan at Camp Station. Maybe you have to get Kealans quest first and finish it before you can get the fletcher quest in at Caer Ulfwych.

Found him at the first pillar near the burned house at 2am.

First talk at Caer Ulfwych to the bolt merchant that is behind the tower and next to the stable master.
Take the horse from there towards Cornwall staion and jump off at the only bridge, on the far side of it. Then take a right and in the water not far from the bridge is where i found the Leeper.
From Caer Ulfwych if you head towards the plains I found a basilisk just to the left (N) of the road as i got to the plains, but they are around the plains a lot.
From Caer Ulfwych head SE and find the large stone circle (witch at center), just SE of that you will find the bloated spiders and Daddy Longlegs. First time i looked for him he wasnt there until i looked up on the hill side. Make sure you have friends with you as he has 4 buddys and others may agro also. I see him all the time going from Keltoi to Caer Ulfwych so my only advice is to check the hillside when you find the bloated spiders.
On the item.. It was only yellow for me for a short period of time. It was better than what i had, but I promptly got Dust Walkers in Keloit which is a little better.

Granddaddy Longlegs spawned in the right location (The pillar) at LATE evening (well after midnight) 2 'nights' in a row... I'm not sure how rare he usually is, but he does spawn only at night.

i posted 3 times here about spending days looking for this spawn, well I had pretty much given up ont this quest, but was on my way through and decided to look one more time and almost bumped right into grandaddy longlegs. What a shock! he's very big and was blue to me at lvl 17 but had a bunch of friends with him. about that time some other players showed up and I asked them for help and was able to get the last eye. Boy was I glad to finish up this quest. I think he spawned at about 17 hrs game time whatever that means. So if anyone else is getting frustrated looking for him he does spawn where the directions say he does, near the stone column just north of keltoi dungeon, he's just rare I guess

I've spent 5 or 6 game days awaiting this named spider to spawn at the pillar, where is he, just how rare is his spawn?

Ok, I have spent 5 full game days and nights in the area right around a stone column just north of keltoi dungeon. There are lots of large bloated spiders, but I still haven't seen grandaddy long legs spawn, so either something is wrong with thelocation or the spawn is broken. All the spiders are blue or yellow to me at lvl 16, so I'm wondering if I can even take long legs out if I di see him. I'm about to give up on this quest though, the other two items were easy enough but this has been very annoying

Just how rare of a spawn is grandaddy longlegs? I have been at the location at least 4 days at 7 am, and at all other times of day, and have waited all night with no luck. Getting very frustrating to say the least.

I am noticing some people are mixing up 2 different quests into 1. Kealan is a totally different quest that yeilds a Tunic for whatever class you are. *This* quest is for Chain only and starts with Fianya Waleldan in Caer Ulf. I believe you have to be atleast 14 for quest, not sure if it's class specific. Hope this helps

Can't find begining of quest. I've checked with the Huntress at Caer, the fletchers wife, and with Kealen. Did the goblin hunter quest and bloated spider quest. Anyone have an idea why or where I should check?

This quest given at lvl16 to my Paly bye, Fianya Waleldan.
It seems that the reward is for me a chitin haubrek, af32, abs27 +str +hits

If it is the guy with blated spiders quest is Kealen next to Campocorentin station tower (where the merchants are as well). NOT at Caer.

if you talk to the woman herself not the Huntress. Between Caer Ulfwych and that wooden structure with the merchants, there are two people standing (sorry, fogot their names but they share a surname), somewhat behind the binding stone. Talk to her and she'll send you on the quest, oh and it is given at lv 16 already.

Checked with the Huntress, and she only gave me the Goblin Hunter Quest. Plus it says the quest begins in Avalon Marsh, but Caer Ulfwych is in Camp. Forest. Can anybody clear this up? I'm going to head down to Caer Witrin tomorrow to see if there is another Hunter down there that might give the quest. If I find out I'll post it here. Sounds like a fun quest, hope I can find it. :-)
