Scrolls: Tribute to Adauron, 1 of 3 -- Lesser janni, inferior marids, janni dust Tribute to Adauron, 2 of 3 -- Lesser janni, inferior marids, janni dust Tribute to Adauron, 3 of 3 -- Lesser janni, inferior marids, janni dust Dialog from the 3 scrolls: "As I stand now over the grave of my father, I, Aramos, will record the tale of his life and death, and how this noble gladiator and doting father - Adauron by name - passed unto me this ring which contains all the power of his mighty will. [I will bury this ring with him now], for the need of it has gone, and I am safe from treacherous Kallek, who I myself have slain in revenge for the murder of my brother." "Kallek, though skilled at arms, could not withstand my father's unbending will and courage, and so was defeated in the arena. Spiteful Kallek would not suffer the wounds to his pride, and so slew my brother Naros in revenge, and then fled. My father searched all the land for him, but could not find the cunning, treacherous warrior. By means of magic, my father poured all of his might, his skill at arms, and his unyielding will into a ring which he gave to me, that I [would] be safe from Kallek[,] should he return. Deprived as he was of his abilities, noble Adauron died in the arena the very next day. Hearing the news, Kallek returned to take my life. With the aid of the ring, however, I slew the coward easily, and cursed his soul that he may burn in the afterlife." "No more worthy gladiator and loving parent did Atlantis know than Adauron. So great was his love for his sons that he thought never of glory and wealth, but fought only to provide for his children. In the end, he gave his life to protect me, and so I ask the [gods] to convey him to the great Paradise that lay beyond the curtain of this mortal life. May the name of Adauron be forever honored and revered among men and [gods] alike." Artifact levels from RvR and mobs in SI Outdoors. All classes may use this artifact. Reward: |
