DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Brief walkthrough: 1) Speak with Bimble at loc=37290,34202 in the Burial Grounds 2) Take boots to Guard Hegir, loc=32811,34283 Burial Grounds, tell him the boots are [compliments of Bimble] 3) Take the second pair of boots to Lieutenant Njolda, loc=28739,33886 Burial Grounds, tell her the boots are [compliments of Bimble] 4) Return to Bimble to receive experience and coin. level 5 received 67 copper and 405 experience Dialog from the quest: Speak with Bimble at loc=37290, 34202,19341 dir=201 in the Burial Grounds Bimble says, "Hoi there! Here's a sturdy set of legs to help me out! I'm looking to pay an adventurer for a most honorable quest involving great risk and unfathomable rewards! Would you like to hear [more]?" Bimble says, "Haha! That line always works on you greedy adventurers! Oh, I'm just pulling your leg. Actually, I do have a job for you, though there really isn't any risk, and the pay is a just bit of copper. Still [interested]?" Bimble says, "My trade is boot-making, and I'm thinking about setting up shop here. I'd like to send some complimentary pairs of boots around - do you think you could deliver them for me? Just two pairs of boots? Easy enough, right?" Will you deliver the boots? [Levels 4-7] You have been given the Compliments of Bimble quest. Bimble says, "Ah, thank you. Let's see...I have a list of [names] here...ah yes." Bimble says, "Take one pair of boots to Guard Hegir, and the other to Lieutenant Njolda. Go west down the stairs to the next junction down to find Hegir. To get to Njolda, go west again down the next set of stairs and out onto the landing. Now, there is one other thing I need to [ask] you to do." Bimble says, "When you hand the boots over, the person you're giving them to will probably ask who they're from. Just answer by saying 'compliments of Bimble'. Hopefully, they'll remember my name and tell their friends! Oh, and don't you think of running off with these and trying to sell them! I'll have the guards after you quicker than you can say 'I'm a royal scallywag and a ne'er-do-well for trying to steal from that honest bootmaker Bimble!' Now, off you go. Come back when you're done and I'll pay you." You receive a Complimentary Boots from Bimble! You receive a Complimentary Boots from Bimble! [Step #2] Deliver one pair of complimentary boots to Guard Hegir. From Bimble, head west down the stairs. Hegir is in the junction at the bottom. [Step #3] Tell Guard Hegir that the boots you gave him are [compliments of Bimble]. Guard Hegir says, "Who? Bimble? A bootmaker you say? Ah, trying to grease the wheels a bit, no doubt. We're not supposed to accept gifts, but I needed a pair of boots anyway, so I'll be keeping these, thank you very much!" [Step #4] Deliver the other pair of complimentary boots to Lieutenant Njolda. From Hegir, head west down the stairs. Njolda is on the landing beyond the stairs. Lieutenant Njolda says, "What's this? A pair of complimentary boots? Well now, who could this lovely gift be from? One of my admirers? Alright then, speak up - who are these from?" [Step #5] Tell Lieutenant Njolda that the boots you gave her are [compliments of Bimble]. Lieutenant Njolda says, "Hah, now that's a crafty fellow, giving out free boots. Well, I'll certainly give him a good recommendation. And, um...sorry about the misunderstanding." [Step #6] Now that you have successfully delivered both pairs of boots, you may return to Bimble to collect your reward. Bimble says, "Well done, well done! You have my thanks! Here's a bit of coin, because you can never have too much money, right? Har har! Now, be off with ya!" You have finished the Compliments of Bimble quest. You are awarded 67 copper! You are awarded 405 experience! (coin and experience was earned by a level 5) |
