Dialog from quest: Talk to Guardian Brannoch at loc=49995,20430,11276 dir=326 Veil Rift Guardian Brannoch says, "Greetings, Celt. I can see by you're a Hero, and one who knows how to fight, I'll wager. Well, that's good, because I have a job for you, and it's an important one to the [war effort]." Guardian Brannoch says, "I was sent here by my people to deal with the threat posed by the dark elves that have taken up residence here in the Veil Rift. Now I have received word that Baron Lanador, a skillful tactician favored by Queen Moriath, has come to the Veil Rift to take charge of a sizable force and lead them [against our defenses]." Guardian Brannoch says, "Lanador is intelligent, but he is no warrior. In a one-on-one duel, I suspect you would vanquish him. For that reason, I would like to hire you to [assassinate Baron Lanador] before he becomes a real threat to us." Guardian Brannoch says, "If you can return with his head, I'll pay you a fair bounty for it. What do you say, then? Are you [up to the challenge]?" Will you be Brannoch's assassin? [Levels 12-15] You have been given the Brannoch's Assassin quest. Guardian Brannoch says, "I'm glad that you know where your loyalties truly lie, Celt. Now, for the matter at hand. Lanador was seen entering the large, hollow rock island across the Veil Rift. You can reach it by simply following the bridges. He is somewhere inside of that cave, and there will be others with him, so go carefully. When you have slain him, get his head and bring it back to me as proof of the deed. Go now, and good luck." [Step #1] Travel across the bridges in the Veil Rift until you reach the large hollow rock island. Inside, search for Baron Lanador and kill him. [Step #2] Return to Guardian Brannoch at the entrance to the Veil Rift, and give him Baron Lanador's head to claim your reward. Guardian Brannoch says, "You've returned, good. I see that you're carrying something there. Is that Lanador's head? If you want your bounty, you'll need to give it to me." Guardian Brannoch says, "An admirable bit of work, Hero. Our enemies would be wise indeed to fear you. Now, for the payment. Here is the coin, but the greater reward will be the deaths we don't suffer at Lanador's hands. Safe journeys to you." You are awarded 28,000 experience! You are awarded 5 silver and some copper! You have completed the Brannoch's Assassin quest! |

The coordinates for Baron Lanador are wrong. The given coordinates are the same as the coordinates for Guardian Brannoch. When someone finds Landor please give new coords.
