They con red or purple to 50, so if you can't kill one bring friends. Don't bring too many friends unless you are prepared to fight adds. Range pull to the outer wall of the lair to fight them without other monster agro. The idea is that you will find Mysterious Writings note on the body, but, you will not get an item in your inventory. This is okay; just talk to Harris to finish the quest. Harris MacCullough says, "The Glimmers are carrying messages too? That definitely implies cooperation or at least civility. And there's Cuuldurach's name with that other name, Zhulrathuul.
