DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Ragi, a dye merchant in Knarr says the following: Ragi says, "Welcome to Munin Sound, stranger. What brings you to this far part of Midgard? The call of the Sound, or perhaps a little [adventure]?" Ragi says, "Ah, and who doesn't seek a little bit of excitement every now and then, eh? I may have a good business proposition for you, if you are [interested]." Ragi says, "Great! You looked like the sort of person who'd be up for a little excitement. hehe! As you can see, I am a dye merchant, and I'm always looking for ways to make my dyes more exotic. Well, there's a certain [shell] that I'm looking for." Ragi says, "I'm looking for the freshwater shell called the Ancey Shell. It has brown and white stripes. With the shell, I can actually make a white dye, but getting the shell is somewhat [difficult]." Ragi says, "There are boobries that eat the creatures inside the shells by cracking the shells and tearing out what's inside. If you could get me a few [intact shells] that would be wonderful." Ragi says, "Aye friend, they are near the water. Bring back as many as you can, and I'll be sure to reward you for your efforts." The shells are dropped by Wading Boobries which are found along the beach just east of town. |

Killed more boobries than an end of planet event and still not had a shell. The gold shale task is better

These have to be the most social mob's Ive come across, they are extremely tough too pull.
The 5 damage from my bronze throwing axe's were bringing an entire camp!
I found the best way was just to edge closer until one of them attacked me, then start hammering away at it whilst backing up.
They are weak against slash and chainmail, which was helpfull for my warrior.

Well I talked to the Npc got the Task killed the mob over n over for hours and got no shells. So like the other quests ive ran into the task drops are extremely randomly rare or broken. So thats my findings.

I'm a bonedancer, and when I turned in the shells, he raised my piety, hits and con, as well as gave me exp and money.
