I am away from home just like a grown Kobold, and I'm earning my keep. What' your name?" You say, "(Your Name)" Recruit Woban says, "Nice to meet you, (Your Name). It sure is nice to have someone to chat with. It certainly gets lonely out here with just the few of us whose post is here in the Forest. It also gets really scary at [times]." Recruit Woban says, "Those terracites are a vicious group. Venomous, they are, and hate everything, yes they do! I am sometimes afraid to leave my post [alone]!" Recruit Woban says, "Why, I am but a young recruit and this is my very first job with the forces. I was hoping to get a job as a runner for the Burial Grounds, but no such blessing from the Gods was in the [runes] for me." Recruit Woban says, "This is a duty way more...dangerous than I bargained for. It just does not seem suited for such a young strapping Kobold like myself. I am not sure how much [longer] I can take it." Recruit Woban says, "Can I be honest with you? Well, I am anyway since we are friends now. I am so homesick! I miss my Mother and family! They tried to talk me out of joining the forces, but it seemed like such a good idea at the time. It was all my idea, and I don't think it's a bad job for everyone, but now I am beginning to [think] they were right." Recruit Woban says, "I have not spoken to them since I left for my post. I would love to send them word of my well being...You would not happen to feel like running a small [errand] for a homesick Kobold would you? You will be rewarded for your time. Please, please, please! I will be your friend!" "Will you deliver Woban's letter to Runner Myrtina in the Frontlines outpost?" [Levels 42-45] You have been given the Word to Mother (Midgard) quest. Recruit Woban says, "Goody, goody, goody! You won't regret helping me, friend! Hey, what are [friends] for, right? " Recruit Woban says, "I can't wait to write to my Mother again and tell her what a noble friend I made! Speaking of my Mother, here is the letter that I need [delivered]. " Recruit Woban says, "Don't read it! A friend would not read another friend's personal information, right? Wait, let's salute on it so that I have your word before I give it to you." Recruit Woban eyes you skeptically. [Step #2] Salute Woban to give him your word. You salute Recruit Woban. Recruit Woban says, "I knew that I could trust you, (Your Name)! You're the most noble Dwarf ever! Here's the letter. Please deliver it to Runner Myrtina at the Frontlines outpost. I added a note to have her reward you for your time since you are running an errand for the forces. Thanks so much! Be careful when traveling to the outpost in the Frontlines." You receive Woban's Letter to Home from Recruit Woban! [Step #3] Deliver Woban's Letter to Home to Runner Myrtina in the Frontlines outpost. Runner Myrtina says, "Hail, Dwarf. How can I assist you?" [Step #3] Give Runner Myrtina Woban's Letter to Home. Runner Myrtina says, "Another letter home, huh? You came just in time as I was just getting ready to make my delivery to the Undercity. Aye, tisn't long before they all cry for home. This one lasted longer than most though...four eves...not bad. They get over it eventually, and will be seasoned [soldiers] before long." [Step #3] Continue speaking with Runner Myrtina to receive your reward. Runner Myrtina says, "Enough of this idle chatter. I suppose I should be rewarding you now since you ran this errand for one of our troops. Your money as promised, Healer. Good day to you." You are awarded 465,000,000 experience! You are awarded 1 gold and some silver! |
