Hurrnos says, "You're right to look startled. It's not often that you see my type here in your camp. At least, not free to walk around. I'm a [terracite defector]."

Hurrnos says, "That's right, I've agreed to help the denizens of the Kobold Undercity because I don't think the terracites will be able to defend themselves if the forces of Midgard [fall to Gullveig]."

Hurrnos says, "As you can see, it's in my best interest to help you as much as I can. It's imperative that we all group together to fight this evil. I just wish that the [other terracites] would see my logic and join with you as well."

Hurrnos says, "I'm particularly worried about my sister, Karlees. We've always been close and I'm afraid that she might be defending my actions to the community. She doesn't realize that it's [pointless]. They refuse to see reason."

Hurrnos says, "I need someone to [take a letter] to her. I just want to warn her that the situation is grim and is heading exactly the way I predicted. I also want her to know she has a place here with me if she chooses to come."

Hurrnos says, "Thank you so much. You'll probably find her directly east of here. There's an old twisted branch on the ground that looks kind of like a snake. We used to play there and she still likes to go there to think. Tell her I miss her!"

You receive the Letter to Karlees from Hurrnos!

[Step #1] Deliver the letter from Hurrnos to his sister, Karlees. She's in the Underground Forest directly east of Hurrnos, standing near a fallen branch twisted in the shape of snake.

move to loc=32000,14000 and talk to Karlees.

Karlees says, "What do you want with me?"

give her the letter.

Karlees says, "Thanks for the letter, but you could have saved yourself the trouble. I will [never forsake] my place with my people. I know that our chances against Gullveig are slim, but I'd rather risk that then turn traitor."

[Step #2] Continue speaking with Karlees in the Underground Forest.

Karlees says, "Please take this with my thanks, but don't bother making the same trip again. My brother should have known me better than to ask, and it's a shame he had to drag you into the middle of it."
