Midgard Sergeant is located in the Great Hall in Jordheim.

Midgard Sergeant says, "Good day Troll. In these troubling times, the realm could use the support of a Bonedancer like you. There is much work to be done. I can offer you a variety of [missions] which will aid our cause."

Midgard Sergeant says, "There are several ways in which you could lend a hand. I can offer you an important [delivery] task or give you the responsibility of running of a [dispatch] to various agents across the realm. I may also be able to make use of your skill in [combat]."
you say, "combat"

Midgard Sergeant says, "Armor merchant Michael... wait, let me check, no I'm sorry it was armor merchant Vidar in Vasudheim. He has been working hard on armor for the King's army. He has requested that we retrieve a harvestman's corpse. I'm not sure what he needs from that beast, but his armor is beyond reproach, so we must honor his request. Kill one of these spiders and take the corpse to Vidar."

"Will you retrieve the item the merchant requested?" [Level 7]
You have been given the Take One and Pass It quest.

[Step #1] Search for the nasty spiders known as harvestmen. They can be found on the hills along the road from Vasudheim to Audliten. Kill one.

The harvestman dies!
You receive the corpse of a harvestman from the harvestman!

[Step #2] Take the corpse of the Harvestman back to Vidar in Vasudheim and hand it to him.

Vidar says, "Eek!"

You are awarded 1,280 experience!
You are awarded 1 silver and some copper!

Vidar says, "I can't believe you gave me that thing. I've been deathly afraid of spiders and insects since I was a wee lad. I even had to change my name because of it."

Vidar says, "I was born a Michael. I went by the name 'Stone Mike' because I was unflappable. I was, until that fateful day when my phobia of spiders became known. I was then known as 'Spider Mike' or 'Sissy Mike'. My friends tried to help, but they made fun as well. When they left for the King's army, I went a different route. I changed my name and became a merchant; my friends became recruits in the King's army. In fact, they all made Lieutenant recently..."

Vidar says, "Hmm... That would explain the practical joke. After all these years, kids don't really grow up, just older. Sigh. Please don't mention this to them. Thanks."
