Expansion Announcement: Prophecy of Ro

The following is a press release from Sony Online Entertainment regarding the upcoming release of the newest EverQuest expansion, Prophecy of Ro: ======================================================== SONY ONLINE ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES EVERQUEST® PROPHECY OF RO™ EXPANSION FOR EVERQUEST® Transform the Online World of Norrath Like Never Before SAN DIEGO, CA – January 3, 2006 – Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE), a worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online gaming, today announced EverQuest® Prophecy of Ro™, a new expansion for the incredibly popular PC Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG), EverQuest®. EverQuest Prophecy of Ro is scheduled to be available at retail and for digital download from Sony Online Entertainment in February for the suggested price of U.S. $29.99. “EverQuest Prophecy of Ro will give players the opportunity to interact with and transform the online world of Norrath like never before,” said Chris Sturr, Sr. Brand Manager, Sony Online Entertainment. “In addition to a variety of new features, EverQuest Prophecy of Ro continues the fascinating storyline as new and old players alike explore, battle and adventure through EverQuest on more than 30 new missions encountering new creatures and environments throughout the journey.” Players will be able to interact with the world thanks to three new features. The first, spheres of influence, can be used to thwart your enemies or aid allies. The second feature is a trap system that will let players deceive opponents with player-set traps. And for the first time in EverQuest, players will be able to destroy objects in the world; doors can be bashed in, walls can be toppled and towers can be destroyed, leading to a new level of interactivity within the game and opening up a new realm of design. About EverQuest Prophecy of Ro The gods have returned and the mortal realm shifts with their influence. But a new presence walks among the gods, a malevolent force released into godhood by the follies of mortals. Unbound by the laws of the pantheon, it leaves corruption in its wake and threatens to bring the entire pantheon crumbling down. The only hope for Norrath hangs on the very mortals who have unleashed this upheaval. EverQuest Prophecy of Ro includes the following features: -Player-set Traps: Control your battles before they even begin by deceiving your opponents with a new arsenal of player-set traps! -Spheres of Influence: Transform the world of Norrath by creating magical spheres of influence to thwart your enemies or aid your allies. These artifacts will create a localized area where the rules of the game can change. -Destructible Objects: Interact with and destroy pieces of the game world leading to a new level of interactivity within the game. Chop down doors, tumble walls, and destroy encampments! -Buff Filters: Decide which buffs you would rather auto-decline with the new buff filtering system! -8 New Bank Spaces -New Missions: Battle your way through over 30 new missions. -New Creatures, New Environments and New Encounters: More than 25 unique creatures, 7 Zones, and 6 Small Instances. -New Spells, Tasks, Disciplines and Trade skills The new expansion will be downloadable via the EverQuest Station Store for U.S. $29.99 (plus tax where applicable). Retailers will be offering a boxed version that will carry a suggested retail price of $29.99, as well as a special in-game item, a Warhorse mount, for players to enjoy. Additionally, a reduced price of $26.99 will be available to consumers who pre-order and purchase the digital download version direct from Sony Online Entertainment. What is soloing?
# Jan 21 2006 at 3:58 PM Rating: Decent
would really like to see more for people who like to solo .. seems now everything is for groups and raids .. some of us out here love to be by ourselves and learn the game slowly .. not have to get in groups that cheat you out of loot and money .. yes you get great exp but your skills go into the toilet unless you solo .. but this is just my opinion
Dissapointing

-Player-set Traps: Control your battles before they even begin by deceiving your opponents with a new ******* of player-set traps!

When I read this I can't help thinking about what they said about DoD.

-You can turn into a spirit shroud and play with your lower level friends and gain exp for your main at the same time.
The spirit shrouds level very slowly and they give your main very little exp. They are much less powerful than a player at the same level. It is easier just to PL your friends to a high enough level to group with you.

-Monster missions
MMs (after they fixed them) are almost useless. Many of them are too hard to be worth the time. Missions like the naggy mission were interesting to begin with, but after a while they become old and lose all their appeal.

-Gain evolving and intelligent items.
This is the only feature of the three here that I would consider worth the time of writing into the game. The way they implemented it though made it almost not worth doing. Most items have very few levels. Why make an item that you have to level up for a relativley short time and not just give you the item to begin with? It would have been much better if items had like 100 levels and took much longer to get to max. Every level they increase a stat by one.

While it is understandable that anyone selling a product exagerates their product, I'm sure the implementation of their features will be much less appealing than they advertise. I haven't played the beta so I have no idea about how they implement traps or spheres of influences. Just from the description of destroyable objects they sound a lot like evolving items. Their implementation makes it almost not worth doing. What is the point in making doors and walls destroyable? It allows you to interact with the world in ways that most single player games much less MMORGPs don't. However, I don't see the what it brings to the game. Whether you walk in through the door or knock down the wall what difference does it make? After a while the "neatness factor" is gone and all it does is take more processing time and network bandwidth. It would have been MUCH better if they allowed players to interact with the world on a deeper level. For example have a zone that is being fought over by vampires and a norathian army. Then give players the ability to affect the outcome of the war and the future of the zone or even the connecting zones. This too would lose its "neatness factor", but at least it would be usefull. To keep it from being a one time event, a GM event, and to make it permanent they could make several events. Some would be triggered by a timer or a GM and others could be triggered by players through a quest. They could make the zones truely dynamic and always changing.

Sony is just too greedy, all these no drop items requires you have to buy the expansion to possibly get the new spell or new items. Their transparent arguement that "farmering" is the reason for this no drop policy can be seen as frivilous in light of prices now in Bazaar. Despite making everything no drop in all new expansions, prices in the bazaar are increasing almost exponentially .I have not even got half of the no drop spells from OoW so why buy this expansion? Also, the bait and switch routine in DoD where they let missions go as originally introduced until they figure they have reached a saturation market then they change these missions and bring them in line with the paltry xp advances of previous expansions. "New trading skill stuff" duh- they are so greedy that the probability of a skill level increase is about 2 standard deviations from the normal mean for a success; talk about having to be brain dead to do smithy tradeskills, just sit thru 100 thru 400 trys for a skill advance. Also, the experience advance is so paltry that it belies belief. Sony is milking people of money. I am though buying these expansions with all this no drop crap

It is good to see folks waking up to Sony Greed that started long ago. The game has gone into the toilet with the SOE uber gear give-away and ebay tards who infest the servers like lice.

EQ has also been dumbed down so much it no longer has appeal to this 7-year veteran. I will not be renewing my three accounts this year. I no longer enjoy this game that manipulates you to buy new expantions or solo while the rest of the server moves on.

FOR SALE: 3-accounts with Veteran Rewards and $100.00 / per year subscription cost. 9-expantions each and lv 70's toons with uber gear that was much to eazy to aquire.

I think the expansion that is coming is going to make the game more fun and interesting. The issue with the bugs there is always going to be bugs no matter if they have a new expansion or wiether they wait.
Software quality
# Jan 13 2006 at 11:09 AM Rating: Decent
If you don't work with software or software systems you probably can't appreciate the complexities of EQ. EQ employes just about every area of complicated code and communication. EQ runs on many different platforms, uses fairly sophisticated communications, graphics, databases, XML, etc.

Since I come from that industry I am amazed at how well EQ runs and how little dowmtime there is. I specifically come from the software testing industry and I can tell you that testing software is horrendously difficult. There are millions of iterations that need to be tested for each change made. It is impossible to catch every nuance in the testing process. So....you may want to cut them some slack when it comes to patches after a new expansion.

Don't get me wrong....I swear at them too when I crash, but it truly is very rare. These guys are amazing.

8 characters on BB server.

HOLY HELL! I haven't even finished Velious. Like the rest, I'll wait around for the Super Platinum Titanium Quartz version previously mentioned - it will take 6 days to install all 25 of their expansions, but I will save drastically...

PoR - prounounced like poor - ala coming out with another expansion already.

There will be a lot of patches soon, so many mobs should be up more often. Yay..

If you have watched the news lately, there have been several items about SONY's financial problems. They have a new CEO and many of their subs are getting heads chopped. At this point in time, SOE will do anything it can to make money. The divisions that produce will not have as many heads chopped off. Its easy to see why this expansion was put out ... SOE employees are worried about their jobs.

No new War?
# Jan 08 2006 at 11:36 PM Rating: Default
Whatever happened to the warrior abilities that was able to enable wars to solo? Did all classes except wariors get upgraded? There were plans in the works to allow wars abilities to solo but not allow those abilities during raids/groups.

I can possibly use 8 more bank slots but it's not worth $30 (x 2 chars)! I only get expansions just in case i might go to them. I have never set foot in about 1/2 the expansions that have come out.

This expansion shows little in usable and/or new content!

I will NOT buy this expansion so I can "Break down a wall" - sheez!

To all the people whining about the new expansion... I mean just STFU ! If you dont want to play it you dont have to. If you dont want to buy it then dont. Some of us like new content to explore. Ive never had any problems connecting etc because of a new expansion, maybe you just have crappy hardware if you do ? Maybe +atk on a caster item isnt a bug.... Ill take it. I mean jeeeez some of yall are acting like a bunch of babies. You are free to do as you wish... buy it or dont buy it.

# Jan 07 2006 at 10:18 PM Rating: Decent
OK, I am really impressed by this. I mean launching another expansion already is truly amazing. Will we have two or three expansions this year sweet SOE? Could be four if your really nice. Oh by the way this was sarcasm.

Lets see last year I payed for twelve full months and I could not play for a total ofat least one month due to the bugs in the last two exspansions. It was even worse the year before that though, I had to cancle my internet provider because your techs told me EQ did not function with it. This caused me to have to change to another with all the cost and bother soley owned by myself. It was still three months and around $300.00 in new equipment and ISP fees because before they decided it was my ISP they told me it was my graphics card.

Oh and lets not forget all the lost time due to patches or the Great server crashes after each new launch. Nor do we forget all the bugs and glitches the unfinshed quests/tasks...Unfinshed Quests/Tasks how can you have unfinshed quests/tasks when you've allready realsed it? Oh wait they were broken or not being performed corectly or "You and the 1500 others who are having trouble are doing something wrong, it's not our problem".

Oh by the way what happened to the all the improvments to CS that were supposed to have happend two years ago? Oh wait that right you replaced /ignore with /send automated oblique E-mail requesting customer search FAQs first (fix SOEs problems for them) then /ignore oh and inorder to get that far first you have to search for a petition that matches what you whant even if you know there isn't going to be any, before you can create a new one.

One last thing. Shall we all expect to recieve everything promised on the retail box this time? I know silly question right after all it's not like You've ever kept a promise even given what you have advertised. "What could he mean?" You no doubt ask. I seem to rember buying a box that said on the cover "additional spell slot" also looking at onlne adds taht said the same, but when I bought it I find you have to AA's in order to get it? So if your below level 51 you can't have it What no wait it was below level 61? So how many people who bought that exspansion had at least one toon over 61 that could earn those AA's? Not I! Nor my Friend!

I can say this I am sure I won't be rushing to EB for this one. Not for 8 bank slots that you probably have to finish 5 multi guild raids or have 1000 AA's and be level 71 (yes I know you can only go up to 70, but it wouldn't be the first STUPID mistake SOE has made) in order to get. No I shall wait till X-mas or next year maybe, Or just untill all the problems are fixed (please see never, thankyou).
RE: Wow! A new one allready?
# Jan 10 2006 at 2:28 PM Rating: Decent
Well, you may not want to wait that long. I am sure there will be a bunch of intentional exploits in this expansion, at least for the first couple months (just like DoDH MM). They will slowly start to nerf them (oops, I meam correct them) until those aspects of the expansion are basically defunct. If you wait until next year, though, you should be ok. The one remaining server probably won't have enough people playing on it to keep you from getting any camp you want.

My reaction to this announcement was simple - I cancelled my subscription.

Source:

Hello to you all!

I'm posting here (and I usually don't) because I can't put up at all with the new upcoming expansion Prophecy of Ro .

I find this, from SOE, totally insulting to the whole player comunity.

Coming up with a new expansion right after Depths of Darkhollow? And that's not the first time. How do they dare coming up with a whole new piece of world when most of the old one is still to be made... full of bugs, caster items with melee mods (such as attack etc...), and a total crap design on the last raid zone expansion's loot (which is worse than the previous expansion's one).

I don't know if you have noticed, but SOE is launching expansions one behind the other faster every time. And each of the expansions, comes with more bugs than the last one, unfinished and way less worked than the last one. Also, the time invested on finishing one is getting progressively way lesser.

Why they do that so much, and why people won't stop doing what they want? Well it's utterly clear, and it's all about the competence.

Be reallistic, absolutely all of you are playing EverQuest to become better and better, and you work for your improves (or take the easy way and buy em from Psychoo with 0 effort ). Even if you say you play for fun, you know you are in need to be at the same "level" (and with the level word, I'm talking about the level, AA, spells, equipment... and the whole things that make your character able to, for example hunt in a zone, or in another).

In conclusion, you are dependant of the character skills. And your character skills, must go with the other's character skills if you want to do something that requires of certain skills. And oh! if you think a little you will realise... if I don't keep on with the others... I'll be left behind, and I won't be able to do things others do, and I won't be a nice player... And, if you don't keep your EQ updated to the last expansion, it's hard you can keep on with the rest.

SOE isn't stupid, they are actually pretty nice with the business maths! They know the players feel like what I have explained on the previous paragraph, and they make use of it. They know if they launch an expansion, whatever it is and the good or the crap it is, people will buy it because they are bound to it, and they feel "obligated".

Now think seriously, when an expansion comes out and you don't like it... and then you buy it, why do you do it? There is only one possible answer, and it's because the others do. And that's a normal lemming reaction to this kind of competence; the same happens in the industries, if the Company_A has a better and faster machine than the Company_B, B will try and get it just because otherwise they would be left behind A, even if B old machines were still working correctly. I invite you to remember the moment when you click the "Order" (or Pre-Order) button of an expansion which you know will just be crap, and standing in front the screen with an idiot feeling and a bitter taste left.

I know it's really hard not to buy an expansion when all your friends, guild, etc. are buying it, and that's why I made this post; to see if people would really buy an expansion they don't like if the rest didn't.

New expansion includes few zones, no and I reapeat: NO levels or new AA, 1 or 2 spells, 8 bank slots (I think they ran out of ideas and had to come up with something more to attract the customers), and some weird new improved game system which we will get working if lucky on 2042 and which I guess it will have the same effect of Shroud system (almost as useless as most of DoDH spells!). It sounds totally like a Legacy of Ykesha 2.0 (1 zone useful to make 1 level or powerlevel 5, bank slots, and a new thing to the game to attract the people a little) with a Dragons of Norrath raid system (2 or 3 mobs then it's done!). And hey! all that for ONLY 30$!!! (30 x 10000000... is what SOE will get tho!); and to be honest I don't care of paying whatever as long as it goes with the correspondent price, money doesn't matter if well invested... but I see the 30$ as a pronunciation of the insult, let them laugh at us lemmings.

So once again, I'd like you to express your feelings as I did (I guess it's clear I'm very upset about this action!) and if you could say please, since my idea of this post was to be a Poll but I couldn't make one :)

- Will you buy the expansion?

- Would you buy the expansion if others didn't? Or you are just buying it because of the rest?

- You don't want to at all and are very pissed, but you know you will end buying it?

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks that way, actually here is a clear example:

http://www.gucomics.com/archives/view.php?cdate=20060104

I know it's utopian, but if we could get the top players and guilds not to buy the expansion (since it's the place where more competence is found in the game, and in most high end guilds gettnig the expansions is mandatory); and then convince casual players, or what is the same, players not bound to a high end guild, to follow the decision of the rest, what would you do? Would you stay with the resistance? Or buy the expansion to be a little better than the rest? Just think what would you do regardless the others.

Thanks for reading! :) Vek

Dont Complain, All Online games have to have expansions, if you dont like that log off and play with your xbox, cube, etc....

However....

1. Sony is fricken INSANE if they think Im shelling out 30 bucks for this one, that price is WAY out of line. 19.99 is the max price point for add-ons considering the amount of xpans and our monthly fees. but Sony is a greedy *****, we all know this, so it shouldnt come as a surprize.

2. I wont buy anymore xpans from Sony simply because, if I wait for about 2 xpans Sony will issue another " Platinum package " or whatever with all 10 or 12 xpans for 19.99 ( wallmart )The profit is not from the sale of the game, its from our monthly fees, and even with the mass exodus to WoW, EQ is still a cash cow and Sony gives us very little in addition to the game itself.

3. The digital download should be priced to sell, to us, your loyal customers and monthly fee payers. By that I mean 10 fricken bucks to digital download, I dont think anything should be free, but so far I feel that the price to point and click purchase is well....wrong considering they have absolutly no cost per unit to sell these online.

That being said I love the Game and I see some pretty interesting ideas up there ^^. But Ill wait and see :)

Safe hunts! and rare drops to you,

Oh my god, SOE is so evil. They make you pay $30 for an expansion every six months...those bastards! It just so happens that this is what people and businesses do to make money, it is called making a living. This actually is taking place every day around the world believe it or not. You want to know who the money-grubbers and crooks are? Just look at the over-whelming number of drug ads on television. We're talking about companies who are pocketing super-inflated profits from sick and dying people and have no interest in finding an actual cure unless they can make a profit from it thus limiting your choices to their drugs and nothng else.

I say keep the expansions coming. I love all of them and it gives me something to look forward to. To be honest I do think this one in particular seems a little weak since it doesn't have the usual aa's or the level cap increase I was hoping for. All I see in it is an extra 8 bank slots. But I'll still buy it, nevertheless.

Well i personally find this expansion interesting...because of one idea...you can effect the world...destroy things...interesting how they might do this....now if they would finally add housing...i would be praising this expansion as the best yet....

The main reason there are 10 expansions is simple....money...twice a year Sony sells 100000 copies of a $30 expansion....they do this because it makes them money...i am sure as we speak they are already making plans for the expansion after this one...and the one after that....EQ is like a Robert Jordan Novel...the story never ends...and i sort of like it that way :)
RE: bleh
# Jan 19 2006 at 8:54 PM Rating: Default
they are lieing about destroying things. I am sure the way this is implemented is exactly the same as how you can break open chests. and the destroying things in the world probably only applies to instances, unlockable content, or the broken doors respawn after x minutes.

The idea is potentially exciting until regarded as above. in which light i then looks lame.

Edit: if the new expansion was made of lego, that would be great: i would love being able to destroy and rebuild the enviroment, much like in the lego starwars computer game!

More content = More Variety
# Jan 06 2006 at 1:21 AM Rating: Excellent
A lot of opinions are raised here and I must admit a lot of them valid in their own way. Since I've started playing EQ I have been loving the game and I am still playing.

Admitedly the content of a lot of the expansions are still out of reach for me but that does not bother me. I am playing the game to have fun.

Always wanted to be in a good guild and get the help I need to take down the big guys, been stabbed in the back too many times by the guilds existing to aid only a few the rest just pawns for them to use. So I solo most of the time and find the odd group to play with. Been on 2 raids since I started playing.

The point I am trying to make is there is a lot of EQ content I have not even seen or can dream about seeing, yet I am still here, still playing and still having fun, and still getting all the new expansions.

For me the most positive thing of new expansions is that it offers new content for the 'Uber' to focus on and leaving older zones alone giving people like me the opportunity to move in at our own pace and enjoy the game.

I am not saying the 'Uber' don't enjoy the game, I firmly believe they do. What I have noticed is that EQ is so diverse thanks to all the expansions that it offers so many different ways for players to enjoy the game and each one can enjoy the game in their own way, do the things you like and have fun doing them.

If you don't like the content an expansion offers don't get the expansion as simple as that it does not stop you from playng the game it merely restricts what content is available to you.

All these expansions gives you the oportunity to create a gaming world you feel comfortable playing in. Get the expansions you are interested in and leave the ones you don't want.

The only thing I have to gripe about is the Availability of EQ in South Africa. I think it's nice of SOE to give little incentive gifts for buying the game however the game not being available in stores in South Africa means that the South African market is still bare (Thousands of availaalbe players with no exposure to what this game can offer them) Buying it online and having it shipped at least tripples the cost thus making it ridiculous, so I resot to Digital Downloads for all new expansion (After the great expense of having my firsat copy shipped to me)

I am here to have fun and will keep having fun as long as I can play. For me this game has given me a lot more than any other I have come accross and I use the content I like and the things I do not like I merely leave be. That is the greatest thing EQ offers .... CHOICE

Would be nice to see the Boxed set on sale in Australia to. Sadly the last ones we saw here were the Lost Dungeons.. Nothing since. I actually like the box sets to have the back up and not chew the bandwidth whilst downloading. Perhaps some Sony power that be may see this and find a market with in various countries to allow boxed set sales.

Yet another expansion I won't buy.

Hey EQ, how about laying off the money-grubbing expansions and actually make the game better by fixing the countless things still wrong with it? How about revamping all the old zones you said you were going to revamp? How about new character and monster models? How about balancing classes, finally fixing the warping mobs, tweaking exp and loot for older zones?

Oh wait, none of that makes you a mountain of money so you're just not interested. Nice job driving more and more people from EQ.

Personally, eq NEEDS to stop making expansions, and make the ones its got BETTER, for example, LDON, that was some of the most fun i ever had in eq, now no one dose them do to poor exp and loot, so why not make it better, instead if making anoter one, but that leaves the "how are they gona make $$$ issue", but no one ever listens to the druid now do they....

I agree with making LDoN better.
# Jan 18 2006 at 3:08 PM Rating: Decent
The xp in LDoN's is horrible. I do enjoy the shorter "missions" cause I don't want or have 4-5 hours at a time to play, I like an hour or two and out. Grinding got old about the 4th toon into it, then I hooked a few toons up into an LDoN specific guild, and have had a blast ever since.

Would like to do more quests, but I've had trouble finding people who even remember how to do a quest. It's all mostly grind and raid now. I think quests would become more popular if the xp bonuses for them were made tremendous, then we call the game "Everquest" again.

The bazaar is a double-edged sword for the gameplay experience. The prices in the bazaar making twinking in one form or another a must if you want to compete and contribute to group gameplay. The bazaar instantly creates uber-newbies. However for a new player, having the bazaar to outfit a character increases the initial enjoyment, thereby addicting newbies to the game with success.

My biggest gripe with the game is it seems tradeskills have been made mostly useless. Players can't hardly craft items that are as stout as the raid stuff, and that, to me, is stupid. If a player takes all the time to develop tradeskills, he should be able to make the best gear in the game.

You should also be able to sell crafted items to merchants and make a significant profit. If SOE did only that, to where you could develop tradeskills and make money selling to NPC's I think a significant portion of "plat-selling" would go by the wayside.

Anyway, rant over.

you used to be able to sell crafted items to npcs for profit. Plat sellers made these items afk using macro programs, and sold them for profit, then sold their profit for legal tender ($£$). while for the normal player, selling crafted items to npc for profit is nice, it is due to 'cheaters' that it is unimplemented.
WHAT!!!!????

AGH DAMN YOU!!! I still cant find a copy of DoD and you are already releasing a new expansion!!!?? Bah every store i look in is sold out of copies and apparently arent recieving more so i can't get it. Didnt DoD come out like 4 months ago? I'm sure they had this expansion done at the same time but they are too damn greedy so they decided to make all this info into two expansions to release at two differant but close times. If you guys up the price again I am done.

To help you out try ordering it online at circuit city or other stores I am pretty sure that they carry the copy. That is how I got my version. I hope this helps out.

SOE finally pushed me out the door :-)
Most expansions they release contain zones I will never see. 1. I don't "box". 2. I don't join guilds because most have ulterior motives, and I can't trust any because of this. 3. I've never bought plat, gear, accounts with real-life money(not just because it's against the EULA,it's lazy and corrupt).
The extra bank slots would be nice, but they'll include those in a patch later,I'm sure. The free mount in-box would be nice, but not worth the $3 extra. BTW,$3 discount for DL'ing it??? LOL BIG savings there SOE. DL's should be $10 each. If they did that, they'd probably sell a lot more.

It's obvious to me that SOE keeps bringing new expansions to appease the rich people who do "box" or buy accounts, etc(which makes SOE hypocrates),because these are the main ones who max out their characters and whine about being bored(boo-hoo).
I've played since '99 and had a lot of fun. I never had a desire to max a char ASAP. SOE has no intention of fixing bugs/broken dialogue/etc that have been in-game for years. All they care about is money, period. As I've said many times in the past,on-line games aren't just businesses, they're communities. People who preach the "This is a Business" mentality have no clue what ethics are. Without ethics, you have corruption.
I know many will accuse me of "whining",but who cares? LOL Anyone who accuses me of that are themselves whining. About me. :-)

Bottom line,I won't be buying this expansion.

Oh,one more note....Notice the new expansion's initials...PoR.....very appropriate LOL How many of you feel PoR right now? :-)

I hate to tell you this but you missed the more appropriate set of initials for this next expansion. While PoR is technically correct it really should be---PR---!!!!!!!

Bah. I hope thats not true. I really want them to make Mnemonic Retention 2, Innate Ultravsion, and Unnatural Durability (Go go HPs). Kinda weird for an expansion NOT to have AAs. LDoN doesn't count. Ykesha was the only one previous to that, wasn't it?
Coincidence? Maybe...

Ok, I will admit it! I am a consperacy therorist. (I say there was someone on the grassy knoll in Dallas) but I digress. I dont want to take anything away from the guild that downed Mistymore. (Huge grats btw!) But isnt it odd that someone finally bested him JUST in time for the announcement of the new expansion in which he plays a major role? And that the actions of mortals set him free and now only the mortals can take care of him!! Now, Im NOT saying he was gimped or that it was any less than a trerrific feat by skilled players. Im just asking the question, isnt it odd that those things should happen on the very same day?
