You must be at least Level 41 to open or receive this quest. See Elyos 41 for more quests that can be started at this same level.
† All quests reward XP but NCSoft is fond of changing the amounts frequently, to the point that it is simply not wise to try to track the exact amount in a wiki.
This is the first of four Spy/Group quests you will need to complete as rapidly as possible. The faster you can move the better your chance of success before the Asmodians become aware of your presence and rally a force to prevent you from completing your objectives. Remember, speed is your ally. Everyone should read and acquaint themselves with the walk-throughs for all four of these quests before you rift to Beluslan for best results.
The only Rift that can be used with any chance of success for this quest series is the "F" Rift in Heiron. This Level 50, 72-use Rift entrance is just north and west of Research Center Overwatch and exits in Beluslan in a snow field, called the Chaos Brambles, at the southern base of Alquimia Stronghold. There is some evidence that the "F" rift opens each day at 4pm (real world time) in the timezone that is native to the server, so 4pm PST for West servers, 4pm EST for East servers, and so on.
Remember, this area is equivalent to the Lepharist Research Center, so there are certain to be Asmodians here grinding mobs and quests.
Note: There is no "good" place here to place a Kisk, and you cannot place one inside the Stronghold. Just do the best you can to tuck one out of plain sight, then move quickly. With any luck you will not need to use it.
Move into the Stronghold, then up or left, to the area of the tracks. Lethe is behind a structure southeast of the tracks. Lethe is attackable by the Asmodians and one effective way they can thwart your goals is to keep Lethe dead as much as possible.
Don't forget the passphrase, "When a Gryphu Flies, a Pluma Feather falls out"! :)
