Infectors come in a few basic styles with very different uses in combat. Most are short range, so are best used by those in a support role. than three) spawn from the corpse and swarm on nearby enemies. If the bugs cannot find a target host (10m range) *Afflictor: - Spawns bugs whenever a target has been hit five times.

The Targeting Reticle displays three darts at the top. As you fire they fill in indicating how many darts have already infested the target.

  • Canker: - Does not make bugs but infection damage increases over time. Oddly, the stats say this model has the highest Bug DMG but also says it does not make bugs.
  • Immunizer: - Extended range, good as a sniper secondary weapon. Bugs created have four times the normal range to find a host (40m).
  • Infector: - Immediate parasitic infestation which then bursts, releasing bugs.
  • Innoculator: - Semi-automatic fire, each shot can create a bug (even if more than three).
  • Invader: - Full-auto fire for quick infection
