Fomor hate

Fomor Hate: What is it?

Every time you kill a Fomor -- or when one is killed by someone in your party or alliance while you're in the same zone -- you build up Fomor hate. The higher level your Fomor hate, the easier it is for Fomors to detect you by sound.

Fomor hate becomes important during Chains of Promathia missions in Sacrarium, when you must walk through rooms and hallways infested with Fomors.

Fomor mobs are also found in Lufaise Meadows, Misareaux Coast, Phomiuna Aqueducts, Sacrarium, Wajaom Woodlands and Bhaflau Thickets.

How to reduce Fomor Hate

Reducing Fomor hate can take time. You must kill beastmen -- Orcs, Gigas and Tauri -- in the Tavnazian Archipelago region.

Another way to reduce your Fomor hate is to use a Fomor Codex to spawn one of the five swift belt notorious monsters in Sacrarium.

Fomor Hate Levels

You can check your Fomor hate level by talking to Resauchamet at K-7 in Tavnazian Safehold. The fourth segment of what he says will indicate your hate level.

Level 1 (lowest level, default)

Resauchamet says: "You still have a fairly good head start, but they will not let up until they have found you and filled your heart with poison and pain."

  • Fomors will not agro to you, even if you have low hit points.

Level 2

Resauchamet says: "They are close… It is only a matter of time before you have fallen within their reach."

  • From this level onward, Fomors aggro to sound and low hit points.

Level 3

Resauchamet says: "Can you not feel the hands that reach up from the bottomless depths of hell? Can you not feel the gaze of a thousand eyes, glowing red with anger and hate?"

  • Sound and low-hp aggro range is increased.

Level 4

Resauchamet says: "The grip of evil is tightening on the very essence of what makes you who you are. Be forewarned, as it will not be long before you are confronted with a battle for more than just your life."

  • Resauchamet might say something that includes "the Grip of evil is tightening." This means you have Level 4 hate, but not quite enough hate to pop the swift belt NM.
  • Sound and low-hp aggro range is increased.
  • You must have level 4 hate to pop the Swift Belt NMs.
