eq2 quest:Cellar Cleanup  

This is the introductory quest for young artisans. It is given by Assistant Dreak in Malvonicus' Tower in the Isle of Refuge. Dreak will ask you to head downstairs (in an instanced area called Mizan's Cellar) and clean up.

Basically this is a tutorial. You will be asked to move some objects, to place some objects and to harvest. Once you do them all you can go upstairs and tell Assistant Dreak that it is clean.

He will then ask you to craft a spike to fix the door. He will give you the materials.

Head back downstairs and use the forge there to craft the items. Then speak to Assistant Dreak. You will then be given a Note and access to the forge there freely. You will also be given a really nice bracer.
