Freeport once was one of the two major cities of the humans of Norrath, and after the Age of Cataclysms, became a hub for a significant portion of the races of our world. To some, it seems that the humans, the original founders of this city, have lost part of their heritage. It's time to recover some of our history, so that we humans can retain our heritage within our own city.

Stage 1

I should search out Historian Velanie in Freeport.

Start:	I should enter Beggar's Court and recover the stolen artifacts.

It seems a group of dissidents are stealing artifacts that should rightfully be in the possession of the citizens. I've put up a warning to watch for suspicious activity, but those responsible need to be sought out.

I was able to recover a handful of artifacts of the past, including a group of them that were about to be smuggled from the city for sale. Those artifacts are the property of the city of Freeport, and the citizens have been warned to remain vigilant.
