Fearsniffer spawns in the courtyard (known to spawn from one of the roamers up and down the center path leading up to the house). It hits for a max ~6,800.

I've killed Fearsniffer a few times now and no Eye of Rot... guessing it is a uncommon drop?
I always believed 3 levels higher conned red, but this guy cons yellow to me at 85. I tanked him w/ T5 j merc cleric in group.. dropped eye, lesser neb frag, abstr remn of truth. ( same for me as last 3 kills on different days). Hits like a girl to me 85 ranger (55k hps/3.4k aa 5.5k AC..highest hit around 4200.) AE is a bit sketchy...and nasty...he cast 3 times during fight.

Drops off of Fearsniffer, I spent 6 hrs 34 minutes attempting to get this . I killed the fearstalkers .. then I noticed 1 single "a fearsniffer" on the west cy .. after I downed both fearstalkers, immediatly after I downed the "a fearsniffer" the named Fearsniffer spawned. Roaming from west to east on the walkway .. he always has 1 additional rot dog with him. Hope this helps.
His placeholder seems to be *a rotdog fearstalker*, have had him spawn from those along the path as well as the one in the far NE corner of the outer courtyard.
