This is the first named in the Cursed cycle. Spawns when the 10 trigger mobs are killed: Rhozth Ssrakezh, Rhozth Ssravizh, Taskmaster Kavamezh, Taskmaster Keozozh, Taskmaster Mikazha, Taskmaster Revan`Kezh, Taskmaster Vezhkah, Taskmaster Zerumaz, Taskmaster Zhe`Vozh, and Warden Mekuzh.

A glyph covered serpent procs a knockback which has an AE Feign Death effect.

Upon the serpent's death, Vyzh'dra the Exiled will spawn.

our guild killed the tm's and the rhozth's then killed the glyph, but exiled did not spawn is there a certain amount of time u have to kill the tm's, rhozth's and glyped or did we just not wait long enuff for exiled to spawn?
RE: timer
# Aug 16 2004 at 12:10 PM Rating: Decent
With 19 it only takes about 17 minutes to kill the TM's/Warder/Rhozth's, and most of that is lost in pulling the Caster TM's.

I believe there is one requirement. You must complete all the taskmasters, Rhozth's, and Glyphed within one hour of starting killing to begin the cycle. If you dont the cycle doesnt begin and the Exiled will NOT spawn.

How many hp does this guy have, what does he hit for (double, triple, quad - 450, 550??) and is it true you just clear all named in the basement - is there no timer on this event?

I can only answer your question on how to spawn him. You have to kill all Taksmasters in the basement and Rhozth Ssrakezh and Rhozth Ssravizh. I think the timer for the event is one week but don't take my word for it.

Sometimes the Runed Covered Serpent spawns instead of Glyphed Covered Serpent. The mobs are identical just that Runed doesn't drop anything. I still haven't figured out when it spawns though. I think it's a replacement-mob for Glyphed if the event somehow gets messed up, I'm really not sure. :/

we killed one called "a glyph covered serpent" -- maybe they finally corrected the spelling/grammar error on this mob?
RE: HP, DPS and Trigger

When Runed Covered Serpent spawns it means the people who tryed the event last time it was up failed to defeate the last mob or ran out of time.

I want to know more about the mob. Not about your opinions on Epics. And while they may be mildly amusing I will never know because I refuse to waste an hour of my life on something I happened along on when I was looking for something else. Something thats SUPPOSED to be here...not what IS here.....

#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 01 2002 at 4:56 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I could easily tell you how to kill this mob. But won't, What happens if a guild on my server who didnt know how to kill this mob came on, Read how to kill it, and killed it? It would mean more competition. So no, people won't tell you how to kill the mob unless they dont give a rats *** about competition.

In fairness, on many servers these are contested spawns, and the more people who know about how to beat them, the harder it becomes to get a shot at them yourself. If your guild went through the trouble of learning how to defeat a particular mob, then there's nothing wrong with expecting others to go through that trouble as well.

Its been said before that the idea of the epic is not for a weapon better than everything else, its that the quest to obtain the weapon is epic, thats the difference. Besides whats the point in playing the game if all your gonna do is level level level or gain AAXP, at least if you do your epic you may feel yoo've accomplished something other than whacking the same mobs over and over again.

Just my 2cp
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 20 2002 at 7:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Just my own opinion: warriors shouldn't bother getting their epic, there as SO many better weapons and the extra weight of carrying around a few extra weapons won't bother them. Sure the epic looks great, but so do the weapons that warriors of 55+ actualy use. Instead of spending alot of time working on an epic, use that time to level instead. A few big raids later and you'll only miss that epic at social events. If even then. As for every other class in the game: get your epic(s). Each epic has a unique effect that is either very hard to come by or dosen't exist otherwise. While it's possible to get along withough that epic, it's certainly nice to fall back on. A 50+ rogue without an epic isn't a rogue. Every chanter on my server is fighting to complete their epic, so are the clerics. (lots of 60's without epic due to big bottlenecks and sheer number of players that WANT ONE. Wish VI would do something about the KS and PLoot that is rampent on these. While there are a few weapons that hybrids might consider other than their epic, they truely are THAT hard to come by. Don't expect to get them until your far beyond the point you could of had your epic. While I haven't herd of the bottle necks for pallies and SKs, not hearing about them is a good indication that they arn't as bad as a warriors. As for casters, there realy isn't a replacement for your epic. You might not carry it around as your primary but you'll keep it around to drag out at the appopriate moment for the click effect. Those effects are THAT good. Generaly lvl 58+ abilities for no mana. Yeah, top that. Nothing beats a free rez, free damage, free pet, free haste...you get the idea.

Just my opinion:

Shouldnt you have posted this under the warrior epic board. Interesting as this thread may be its makes for difficult reading when 50% of a board is about something completely unrelated to the main topic.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 05 2002 at 6:14 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It is sad I have to agree that warriors did get one of the weaker epics in game. The work for reward is a bit disapointing. Keep in mind though, Epics are a Kunark weapon. At the time the warrior epic was very desirable if not the best weapon a warior could get at that time. Or until they went to VP to get one equal or just barley better. Set the clock ahead 2 expansions and many zone revamps later. Many warriors still work very hard to get their epics. 1) for the self pride in just doing it. 2) warrior epic is still a great offhand weapon too. I believe warrior epics should have been like 12 20 dmg del though. this would have put it on par with ranger swiftwind ratio, and let the warrior have some speed to taunt with too.
RE: Epic?
# Aug 14 2002 at 3:04 PM Rating: Default
Well this warrior disagrees totally with the idea that warrior epics are useless, etc. The only one so far to be able to pull agro off my 59 war, once I proc of course, has been one very well geared epic'd monk (with 74% base haste to my 21%)) that was pulling. Yes, i know my haste stinks, dont remind me, lol. I have kept 100% agro with 2 epic rogues stabbing away, and my shammy wife having her slows repeatedly resisted. And when it procs several times in a row, which is common, you can't pull agro off at all, period...we have tested this over and over in our raid training sessions. Are there weapons out there that do more DPS? You betcha, but any warrior worth his salt knows that DPS is NOT the main job of the tank. Leave that to the burners, rogues and such...your job is to keep the dang mob on you, and not die. It took me 2 1/2 years to finish it, mostly because our guild couldnt take a few of the biggies til 6-8 months ago, but other than a few k here and there no plat was spent "buying" it. One says he can sit in bazaar with 100k and get better...sure ye can, ,and how much work did it take you to get 100k? lol
Anyway, one for the warriors)), GO FOR IT< IT ROCKS!!
RE: Epic?
# Jun 20 2002 at 11:24 PM Rating: Default
True, there are better warrior weapons out there. However most of them require a very good guild/s to obtain or require lots of platinum to buy them off the uber guilds. Unless you are in a uber guild that eats mobs like this for breakfast the Blade of Strategy's proc makes the warrior epic worth getting even if not until you can get something better. Some epics are better than others, some have better effects than others but all of them have some use at one point or another.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 21 2002 at 6:19 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Warrior epic is IMO barely worth the trouble. I can sit in FP with 100K and EASILY get 2 weapons that will draw agro off of an epic warrior.
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 15 2003 at 3:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) 90% of the Warriors you talked to probably didn't have the Epic either, LOL. I bet they change thier mind when they actually use it.

you haven't talked to enough warriors then.

More to the point, as has been said before and will again, the epic part of epic is in the quest, not the weapon.

#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 15 2002 at 1:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I have been MT for a couple guilds that regularly hunt N ToV and Ssra. And I HAVE pulled and HELD agro from epic 60+ warriors using weapons I have purchased in Bazaar. It aint that difficult, because the warrior epic is way underpowered.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 03 2002 at 6:06 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Done a search on Alla's for better 1 handers with a proc based on ratio, damage and total stats? Sure warrior epic comes in about 25 or 30 ... every single other weapon above it comes from zones and mobs that guilds quite capable of getting warrior epics couldn't even scratch in my opinion and experience.
RE: Epic?
# Mar 15 2003 at 3:43 PM Rating: Decent
Ok, first off if the Warrior was using the Blue Sword it has no proc on it, so pulling aggro off a Warrior using that is no big accomplishment. Second, the Warrior Epic is the first Enraging Blow weapons many Warriors will see. The Blue swords effect is awesome and it has a great off-hand ratio as well. Before you down it, try using one. I haven't had aggro problems since I got mine at all.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 18 2003 at 2:08 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I was and still can draw agro off of warriors using red blade, and easily...and yes, using weapons that are available in bazaar and not that difficult to purchase.

# Mar 30 2002 at 6:15 AM Rating: Decent
Ok, what is an area effect Feign Death Proc!? It sounds like it would make everyone within the area FD but that can't be right. That would be like a mob having an AE DA proc.
RE: proc
# May 31 2002 at 12:08 AM Rating: Good
/sigh sanaddar :)

AE FD clears all agro, hard to keep an MT up if AE FD clears his agro everytime it happens :)

Actually the AE FD doesnt do a lot for agro change. What it DOES do, however, is interrupt casts and attacks (which is probably what shifts agro for you...the MT not ready to rapidly stand after FD hits, resulting in no melee damage from MT).

But its the cast interrupt thats the pain in the butt.
RE: proc
# Apr 30 2004 at 10:12 PM Rating: Default
The proc isn't JUST an FD, it's also a stun. Regardless whether or not you get up, unless you have a high MR you also get stunned. I've done this event more times than I care to admit.

When fighting this guy, you have your melee on one side, then you have your casters on the other side, and you keep the Serpent opposite side of the casters so your healers don't get hit by this proc.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 08 2002 at 6:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hrm. Lemme see. Weapons that drop off this guy and all high level zones in luclin just blow the heck outta the epic weapons. I was looking at that 14 18 haste piercer and the 12 16 15ac etc etc 1hs. Epics are a thing of the past and frankly arent worth getting more. Just if anyone was wondering whether to do yer epic or not, with the advent of Luclin and the PoP in the coming months, its really not worth it in my opinion :) Be safe!
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 16 2002 at 12:54 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well, The epic thing is only half true... depends on your class. A couple epics always worth doing... monk, cleric, enchanter, mage, wizards, and even some of the other ones also.
