This spell is awesome. It can totally turn the fight in your favor if its a close match. When I solo, I have trouble with some yellows, until this spell. I can usually get it off twice during a fight. That is the equivalent of 2 swings of my mace. It's just free damage. No casting time. It does get resisted sometimes. If you are grouped and taking multiple mobs, it weakens them at the same time too. This can work well for you followed by the insta-cast mezz.
It's free, uninterruptable damage during commbat !! Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. This spell does wonders for me at level 8. =)

Please tell me why some people rave about this spell Drive Evil. Ok, so you get an AE dmg spell when you are being pounded on - instant cast I take it means no interrupts. The only time I can see this as good is when everyone is down to last HP - and two or more meanies are near death anyway.

Whoever postet those spells he is total wrong
the recast time on those AE spells is 20 SEC not 20 Minutes ;) p

This spell actually does about 15 to 17 pts of damage and casts instantaneously in battle. The recast time is about 22 seconds.
