Twelve-year-old Tylor Savage doesn’t have to ask what’s for dinner. It’s chicken or tuna with carrots and potatoes and maybe some grapes or an apple — the only foods to which he is not allergic.

“I’m a little bored with the same food,” Tylor told TODAY co-host Matt Lauer during a visit to New York on Thursday with his father and sister.

I have no allergies whatsoever, food or otherwise. How strange that he can only have 6 things to eat.

That would be infinately boring.
On the other hand at least he's somewhat forced to eat healthy.

Wow, this kid reminds me of Millhouse.

Is he allergic to his own tears as well?

I am deathly allergic to Poison ivy but thats it. Seriously, all you have to do is be in the same room with me if you have poison ivy and the fumes make me get it. Yes I said fumes. Poison Ivy has a certain stink.

Me either. I always made fun of my friends who were allergic to things, taunting them with how I could eat it and they couldn't. I wouldn't have the heart to do it to that kid though.

One of my friends is allergic to seafood and the smell of it can set him off. He has to leave the room if there's any seafood being steamed.

I get hay fever twice a year, but that's it. My nephew is deathly allergic to peanuts.

Does it seem kids are more allergic to stuff than we all were/are? Maybe there are just better tests, dunno.

I wonder if he can eat ketchup. It wouldn't be so bad if he could put ketchup on it. He probably can't though.

If he can't eat tomatoes I doubt he can have ketchup.

Maybe a nice carrot-based habanero sauce, thought. Caliente!

I got allergy tets a few years ago when i was about 16. I turned out allergic to just about all animals and most natural sources like grass and weeds and stuff. The thing to which I was supposedly most sensitive was cats. I had owned my cat for 11 years at that point, and getting rid of the thing was just not going to happen...

I suppose I'm kinda lucky or something, but i've never had some allergy that couldn't be overcome with just ignoring it with gradual exposure.

Would be good enough for me!

Anything that can give the chicken some kick.

I always attributed my lack of allergies to the fact that when I was a kid I was kicked out of the house at 7am during the summer and other than lunch and dinner I was expected to play outside until it was time for bed. That exposed me to most anything you could be allergic to outside at least.

I vaguely remembering watching some special… or was it and article? Whatever, either way this girl was exposed to some chemicals during and incident and some how devolved a severe allergic reaction to her tears and even rain water because of it. I think she ended up with 2nd/3rd degree burns from getting caught off guard during a rain at one point.

As for me I’m one of the lucky few who aren’t Allergic to anything… yet.

I'm confused as to why he has to have a tube in his nose or a port in his stomach for formula...why can't he just drink it?

As in he can't touch grass, or silly as this sounds, can't eat it (not unreasonable considering some kids will and do eat anything)? I couldn't imagine not being able to go near grass as a kid and miss out on all the sports i played.
