It started as just a friendly little jesture to one of my friends, but the thread has turned into a hate ME fest and I'm tired of having to tell people off.

Like Magna already said ignoring these people is ALWAYS the best option.

Whether you reply to them with one word, or a ten thousand word essay doesn't matter. It will generate the same course, i.e. the one that thread went down.

Next time just ignore it.
