Walking rocks seem to drop these as rares.
The weapon gives a +2 bonus to the piercing skill, so fighting with two would really give lvl 18-22s an edge.

Really rare drop.
Only seen it drop once off the Kacey mob.
I've seen more bloodstone falcatas drop than this, meaning its hard as hell to find

Ok, now for a post that has something to do with this item (and go read R.A.Salvatore's Dark Elf trilogy from the Forgotten Realms).
Last night, I was messing around just outside of Druim Ligen in Cruachan Gorge and got attacked by a mountain mephit (blue to 27). When I got through wiping his mud off my shoes, I found that I had acquired this dagger from him. Nice Shade weapon!

I got one while killing ghoulies in the woods just outside of Innis Carthaig. Hunted there for about 2 lvls and only dropped once so it may be rare. Why dont people who submit this crap just tell everyone where they got it and what monster they got it from?

I am using this right now - it is better than dolomite because of the bonus, can cons yellow at 20. And it's offhand!
